Ranjana, in an re-incarnation track Geet and Maan may have the same name but not the same personalities. Yes, Gurti will be there but I wonder about Maaneet. What attracted us to this show? The personalities of Maaneet or Gurti? Why were we upset every time they mess Maaneet's character even if Gurti are still together? Amritsar track was a classic case. Maaneet were in the same frame but still many did not enjoy it. As to the long run for the show that depends on the trps post the re-incarnation. If the PH reluctantly does it, I doubt they will give an interesting storyline which will then affect the trps and I wouldn't be surprised if the channel wraps up the show within months if it does not really take off. So we have our favourite leads die and take the big risk of the show going downhill.
Would it not be better to have a different love story and a different PH who is enthused by their show with the same leads?
