Before I got hooked to MKAP.. I used to watch this show. I must commend Akshara, that she has always been a ideal daughter.. well dressed, well respected and well mannered daughter.

Even as a wife and daughter inlaw she carries the same traits. It can be upto the bahu many a times to make or break the house. And Akshara although a lot of the times she's overly scared, is very humble and respectful.

I envy the lead of this show in comparison to the lead of our show Pratigya. I wish she was more humble like Akshara. Even the actress playing Hina Khan does a better job.

I thought she deserved a round of applause. 👏

Totally agree with you. Akshara is a great daughter as well as a wonderful daughter in law. She is the one who takes of all the situation with patience and respect. I totally adore the character of Akashara...she is really good in everything. Hina Khan plays Akshara very very well. 👏👏👏

Totally agree.. she takes each situation in hand and deals with it respectively. She's very sweet and innocent.

I loved this girl from the early days. There was something about her that had us glued to her. Could it be her simplicity or was it her average intelligence?😕 Maybe it was her girl next door quality that had us captivated😕 Can't quite put a finger on it😃

I could relate to her, she is a normal girl just like the friends I grew up with. We loved to see her happy & were upset when she was. I loved her insecurity & her devotion to her family be it her maayka or her sasural👏

Things were never easy for her be it winning over her husband or her sasusral but she tried harder & with no complaints when the going was tough👏 I was frustrated at times & am I sure I let it all out but not because I disliked her but because I couldn't see her hurting😭 She is very gentle & respectful to her elders but feisty when she argues with her husband😆 Apna haq jatake ladthi hai, which is very adorable😳

Her patience & her perseverance have finally won over her sasural, fingers crossed. She completes the man in her life, Naitik. A beautiful mind, a beautiful heart has Naitik bowled over & us the audience too😃

I loved everything you wrote...its very well written and its so true. There have been many lead actresses who are great as daughters and daughter in laws but akshara is the one who have always stayed in everyone's heart. She is one of my favorite ones 😳 Totally love Akshara.. 😛

so good to see u here 🤗although i like pratigya , she's fierce and well suited for her husband and in laws 😆 but i agree with u that akshara is one character who stands out...

pehle hina then akshara..hina has truely evolved as an actor, she looks gorgeous on screen , the more i watch i the more i'm in awe of her...

i know many will be surprised but i really love akshara..obviously the only reason for watching YR has been naitik n akshara..i might not support many of her actions , i dun know why..may be bec. i relate to naitik more than akshara but still, akshara is the most desirable bahu beti and wife..no wonder everyone in YR wants only Akshara with them 😆 chahe naitik ya rajshri ya gayitri...she has that magnetic personality with whom anyone wud love to fall in love with...she the ideal stereotype of tv (i think on tv, nothing else works) but in reality, if we're 10% like akshara then we'll be much more happier 😆 ...sadly , we cannot conquer or ego's , hence all we get is broken relations and sad hearts...i'm talking in general not abt someone in particular..there r many who r better than akshara n many who r worse...

i just wish YR gets better n better and even if it ends, it ends on a happy note so that good memories of YR remains in our hearts forever ❤️ it has become such an imp. part of my life , whenever i like YR, i'm in a happy mood n my day is good, whenever something goes wrong in YR, meri life mein bhi gadbad ho jaati hai..some connection is there 😆

This is a great thread! Our YR journey began w/Akshara...& I actually started watching it right as the courtship began & spent two weeks catching up on 2mths worth of epis! I couldn't fathom liking a desi serial so much...this was my 1st foray into Indian serials (since Ekta started this revolution.). Akshara's simplicity, her family, the sets, the music all of it was very appealing! While I couldn't relate to Akshara's personality--I'm way too independent, opinionated & high spirited in general :D, i shared her love for family, culture, & values...I loved her & I loved her more when I saw her w/Naitik. Naitik reminded me a lot of my hubby when we first met; so my connection to him was instant...however, I've always had an extra soft spot for Akshara...she stood up for her beliefs vis a vis her fiance, she gave into her feelings during the courtship (even facing the wrath of DJ), she always did and continues to do what she feels is right, while valuing what mattered--her family and her principles! This resonates w/most of us, whether we are married or not...:)...

I agree w/Charu...this show & the entire unit deserve all the accolades! Akshara & her loved ones have given us an amazing, if sometimes utopic, look into a traditional, Indian family during a time when this concept is slowly becoming obsolete...suffice it to say, I will cherish YR & this forum long after the show is put to rest...:):)
