Maan called everyone to the conference room. Sumaira wondered what it is for. The staff's manager Sasha and her PA Tasha were eagerly awaiting for Maan to enter the conference room. "Sasha..I mean Maam DD ki entrance ka style kitna jaan leva hain". Sasha gave a stern look to Tasha. "Sorry silly me!".

"Good Morning everyone take a seat...You all will be thinking on my first day back why I called a meeting..well there are two things...firstly I have worked for my Papa before and all that are familiar with me know that I do not take irresponsible people lightly therefore now that I am the Managing Director I will expect all of you to be professional and hardworking understood?".

All the staff were silent Geet sat next to Maan looking worried. *Babaaji ye toh bahut dusht danav lagte hain..main inn ke saat kaam karo gi? Babaji help*.

"Aur haan ye hain Miss Geet , Maan Singh Khurana ki secretary..she will be joining us from today". The meeting was a long one but the mention of Geet got all the girls giving her dirty looks. She nervously knotted her dupatta. Pinky was eyeing up Adi. "Aur haan Pinky tum Adi ko kiya dekh rahi ho main tum se baat kar raha hoon"? Pinky felt embarrassed and Adi looked at Maan as he knew he had done that on purpose.

All dispersed after the meeting. "Sumaira ye kiya namoona hain pichli century ka? MK ki secretary. I amazed you are not his secretary" asked Sasha.

"Sasha koi baat nahin waise bi she is no competition to me..just look at her dress sense". Asserted Sumaira.

Maan was helping Geet to learn how to make calls and do dictation. "Geet bring me black coffee 1 sugar please". Geet went off and met Pinky. "Hey Geet hows it going?".

"Bilkul teek lekin Pinky ye sab ladies muje aise kyon dekh rahi hain?".

"Geet tum DD ki secretary ho iss liye!" said an excited Pinky. "DD?"

"Haan DD..MK ko saari larkiya Dhak dhak bulati hain..he's hot isn't he?". Geet nervously smiled. He was her friend.

"Wo sab jalti hain ke tum unn ke itne kareeb hoo gi..aur raaz ki baat batao Sumaira bi khoshish karti MK ko apne jaal main pasane lekin DD usse ghaas nahin deta".

Geet brought the coffee and gave it to Maan. He smiled and was about to take the coffee that he accidently put his sexy slim finger on her hand. Geet flinched and Maan removed his hand and looked the other way. "Uh Geet shall we continue?". She nodded but she was lost in her thoughts.

"Geet what is the matter why you lost in space?".

"Maan your so strict and so stern that I could not believe your the same Maan..at home your different".

Maan smirked at her innocence. "Geet I am like that towards my staff..if I be lenient they will take me for granted..I need to set the standards. My staff need to know who's boss..and you be aware of me too Miss Secretary". He squeezed her nose. "Maan!" she slapped him.

Within a few hours Geet grasped all the ropes that were required of her job. "I must say Miss Hoshyaarpur express I am impressed! By choosing you as my secretary I made a wise choice and has ever my choice been wrong?".

"Oh hello? Asmaan se neeche utar ayiye Mr MSK, itna ghoroor acha nahin".

"Geet acha salary kitna lo gi mmhh?"

"Maan dost bi kehte ho dusht danav aur paise bi dete ho...main ye humari dosti keliye kar rahi hoon aur aap ko meri zaroorat hain, hain na?". Maan was lost in her words. Her blabbering away was drawing some unknown mystical magical feeling. Why was his friend so charming and sweet... he smiled at his destiny of finding such a sweet friend.

"Geet let's go home".

Back at KM , Kum kum was waiting for all of them. "Geet I hope me son did not scare you too much?"

"No Aunty he was helpful".

"See Maa, Maan Singh Khurana is P-E-R-F-E-C-T". He boasted.

"Aunty ji why are some boys so proud".

"Yes Maan answer that". Adi said.

"Well because I am the best...why mother is that not the case?". Kumkum playfully slapped him and went inside.

"Geet I want to take you in our lunch break out for a coffee tomorrow".

"Me? Why?"

"Why not? I am your friend feel like treating you..Adi you hippo come one lets do our tai chi..or you want to be a roly poly?". Maan casually got up and went to do his tai chi workout.

Next day at KC Sasha had purposely intended to make Geet make mistakes. She in the name of helping was going to put her on the wrong track. Maan called Geet to take her for lunch. "Arre babji abi ye dictation letter finsh karna hain".

"Don't worry Geet I will finish it off, you go and have some coffee with MK as your his personal secretary". She made a crude remark. Geet thought she was helping her out. Sumaira heard that Maan had taken Geet for coffee and she was furious.

Maan walked into the Costa coffee shop. Geet was looking nervous, she was not use to this high society life. "Geet this is the best coffee shop...Geet what happened?".

"Nothing".

"I am your friend you can tell me anything you know that? Anyways what would you like?"

"Whatever your having". Maan smiled. "Waiter can we have 2 Mocha's and chocolate fudge cake please? Haan main keh raha tah ke tumare papa dubai gai hain kyon?"

"Wo paise khamaane..meri shaadi ke liye".

"Shaadi? Uh..larka unoo ne dekha hua hain?" he seemed interested.

"Nahin par preparations toh karna parti hain na?".

Suddenly Maan noticed Geet's beauty spot on her upper lip. "Geet your beauty spot is so cute". Geet felt conscious "Maan I hate it!".

"No its looks nice on you trust me". The coffees arrived and both began sipping. "Tume pata hain Geet tum meri pehli friend ho jo aik girl hain, I love your company and you talk so differently from everyone I know. Everyone I know all talk of cars, houses, money but your so different..I don't know how to put a finger on it but there is something about you that is so unique.." he carried on but Geet was looking into his eyes that were so sincere and for the first time she noticed they were brown and his lashes were so long. "Geet tum sun rahi ho na?"

Geet moved her gaze "Haan I just was lost in your lashes?"

"My lashes what?" said a confused Maan. "Nope nothing".

"Miss Hoshyarpur express your bonkers ! Come on lets go we are getting late ".

Maaneet walked in the office and Geet got the dirties. She felt like they were attacking her with their eyes. Sumaira joined Maaneet in the cabin. "Maan suna hain tum geet ke saat coffee peene gai teh? Muje bataya hota I would have entertained you better". She looked at Geet mockingly.

"Sumaira tum jaanti ho muje nautanki pasand nahin aur waise bi maine apni dost ke saat jana pasand karta hoon samji tum?". Sumaira stomped off.

"Geet aaj hume raat ko office main rehna hoga kyonki kal subah ye project complete hona chahiye Mr Bhatra keliye..he is leaving for USA soon". Geet looked nervous all night alone with Maan.

"Geet we are friends right? You can trust me".

"Maan I trust you but what will Aunty say?"

"Don't worry I will ring her".
