nice concept dear.. poor Geeet...hope she will be saved from evil eyes and will be able to Maan soon.

Part 4

Chawla's searched for Geet from camp to camp, they did not have her picture nor they knew how she looked Sukhvinder asked the woman sitting with a register near one of the camp's "Beta do you have any 13-14 yr old girl her" the woman asked "name?" "Geetanjali Handa"

"Wait let me check'. Sorry Madam, but we have 2 girls that fit in the age slot you said, you can have a look, there they are sitting there"

Sukhvinder went to have a look, though she has not seen Geet but she knew neither of these girl's was she.

After 3 long hours they reached a camp and asked the same questions the man sitting said "sorry Ben we don't have any girl by this name, but yes we have a Punjabi girl whose name is Geet, may be she is the one you are looking for" Sukhvinder was delighted that yes she could be Geetanjali may be they call her Geet, "can I meet her?" "Yes why not? Let me call her, Nath go and call Geet"

As Geet came out Sukhvinder had no doubt that she was her niece, she was a small version of Rano, she ran to her and was confused as to how to introduce her self, Geet lifted her head and hugged her "Sukhvinder Aunty, you came to take me" and she fainted.

Sukhvinder was surprised that Geet knew her and recognized her; she cursed her self for distancing from her brother out of her insecurities. When Geet recovered she recognized Mr. Chawla and Brij as well, they took her to the place they were staying, and later they told her about Brij, she was overwhelmed and wished all the Rakhi she were with him.

Next day Sukhvinder announced that they shall leave now, Geet said "Aunty, can I once go to the place I lived" "of course we will"

They went to the site the debris was almost clear, and it was a plain site, few workers were cleaning the remaining stuff, she gave it a sad look, Brij hugged her, one of the workers saw her and came to her "you lived here" she just nodded, he continued "I have some of things that I found here, may be few could be yours, I saw one of your photo in them" Geet followed him along with Brij, and as the man opened the van door, they saw n number of things in it, she looked carefully among them, and Brij found some broken picture frames and picked them, one was of Geet with her parents, the other was Handa's and Chawla's holding baby Brij, one was Khurana's and Handa's trio, the HSPur family photo, there was also a small album, Geet found a box with stuff that Maan gave her while leaving, few dresses that belonged top her, her school books, the emergency diary that had all the phone numbers and many more things, she took the box, and the dairy with her. Brij showed her the photos, and said "papa, Maa" she was in tears "yes" and the siblings cried their heart out.

Meanwhile at Delhi,

Maan had recovered but he was very sad, Mohneesh himself was broke by the loss of his friend and remembered all the time she used to say that he will die first, Rajji was the one who came out strong consoling both Mohneesh and Maan, she did not shed tears though her heart was crying, she helped them come out of the dark.

It has been a month since the fateful day, Rajji went to Maan "Beta, come lets have breakfast" Maan nodded "Maa, I don't feel like eating" she sighed "how will things go like this Maan, you have not been eating nor are you studying, what are you doing to your self" he was annoyed "Maa, please don't start all this again" she gave him a stern look and said "Geet, would be very happy looking at you, you promised her something before leaving, and your father he too has forgotten the promise her gave Mohinder Bhai about taking KH to heights, very nice both father and son are making them cry even in heaven, nice continue" Mohneesh who was listening was shocked and he pledged to go back to Bangalore and concentrate on KH communications, Maan to pledged to study well and fulfill Geet's dream.

Meanwhile in Chandigarh,

Sukhvinder has insisted Geet on calling her Maa, as she was as much her mother as she was Brij's, Mr. Chawla asked Geet that they would like to legally adopt her, and she agreed, but she said that she no longer wants to be called by the name Geet as it had many memories and all the people who called her Geet died so she did not want anyone to call her by that name, it was decided that from now on they will call her Anjali even in the adoption papers she was called Anjali Chawla, so after a moth of that day Geetanjali was no more. Brij called her Anju and so did her now parents.

In the new academic session she was enrolled in 10^th standard as Anjali Chawla, new, name, new place and a new Geet oops Anju.
