He's not used to it and he's definitely not putting up with it for much longer.
The guy who controls everything that goes on around him, the guy who tells people what to do, the guy who doesn't take no for an answer...is actually given a taste of his own medicine.
If you look at it from Arnie's POV, 'Khushi Kumari Gupta' is the stark opposite of him. The one name he can associate with every disaster in his life so far, starting with the fashion show.
Only now he's actually dealing with it, it's not just about KKG causing the disaster, or being the actual disaster...it's him saving her from herself, saving her from that very disaster.
He sends her to the building site under an excuse of a "project" but when he realises the seriousness of his actions, he takes it upon himself to be her saviour. And ever since that acknowledgement, his role in her life has been the same-the fact he hasn't become aware of that yet is a totally different matter.
The teej vrat where where she swayed and fainted in the mandir is another example; he's been there to ensure nothing untoward happens to her, clasping onto her hand to break her fall. Saving durga maa when she slipped, eventhough he doesn't believe in god. Khushi's eyes asked the very same question... "Why?".
But now he's had enough-although I'm very curious to know what he will say to her, Anjali picked up on his dilemma instantly. "I think your annoyed cause you didn't get to tell Khushi your side of the story".
And can Anjali ever be so wrong when it comes to Arnav?
He tells her, "Mujhe kissiko koi safai dene ki zaroorat nahi hai"...really ASR? do you really mean that?
Then tell us why your so hell bent on speaking to Miss Khushi Kumari eh?? 😉 Her words are like a resounding slap echoing in his ears, "Yeh raha humara isteefah, bhar mein gaye aap, aur bhar mein jaaye aapki naukri!"
"Different" is definitely one word you can use to describe Khushi's behaviour towards Arnav, or maybe the way he perceives it anyway... bechara.
Only now...new words ring in his ears, "Hum Lucknow jaa rahe hain..hamesha hamesha ke liye..."
If his unrestlessness was killing him before, god knows what's happening to Arnav now-although we can only imagine with his sleep deprived nights.
But this is what this post is actually about...theres a bubbling sensation, an intuition as we all understand the two potential routes.
Numero uno-Khushi leaves for Lucknow, never to meet ASR ever again...hamesha hamesha ke liye...
But that's not possible, can the CVs really torture us so? Nahi na. So... instead we have:
(more preffered)
Route two- what do you get when you add 1 Restless, Angry ASR + and an equally adamant and ignorant KKG = a confrontation.
I'm already getting excited.
Its been illustrated in many dramas up till now-but we only imagine how Arnav will force Khushi to listen to him, and believe me she's asking for it. He's going to be angry but he's going to learn to control it in a way which will surprise her so she will be compelled to listen, willingly...
A kidnap? A hand over the mouth? He said it himself, "Ek ek cheez todh ta rahoonga, ta ki har tooti cheez se tumhare khan khule...aur tum meri baat suno"
Well what do you know Arnie-I suppose it's a "been there tried that" situation and a phoneless Khushi still doesn't want to know. What can we say ASR, now you'll have to try something new :)
EDITED- He's so effected by her its unreal- I've just watched the scene again. Notice when he backs her up against the wall and she tells him to open the door first?
"K: Hum kuch nahi suna chahte, humein bas yahan se bahar nikal na hai"
"A: Tum sunogi."
"K: Humein bahar jaana hai"
"A: Main keh raha hoon-"
"K:Humne kaha na humein bahar jaana hai"
"A:Khushi main tumse baat kar raha hoon aur tum meri taraf dekh-[nahi rahi ho]"

So the part in brackets is cause he's interrupted by Khushi (again!) but- Oookay wow, yesterday I never heard him say that line, call me sad but I had to rewind it cause I couldn't believe my ears...Arnav cares that she's not looking at him when he speaks to her. Now that's something on a whole new level altogether...anyone got the checklist for someone who cares about another's behaviour towards them? "Caring when one doesn't make eye contact" definitely is on the list and gets a "tick" from us!) Oh Mr. Raizada..this is why we love you and your oblivious ways 😳
Thanks for reading! xo
Like if you "like" the idea! :D
Lots of love xo
