Part 41

Maan can in the Mansion to find the advocate sitting there, he wondered that was he because to Dev's case; but he was strictly instructed not to come here for it, and always approach Arjun; and he was not a man to go against DM's instructions, so why was he here, he did not remember calling him. As Maan was stepping forward he saw Geet gong to the nursery, a smile crossed his face and he instead of going to the study went to the nursery, and there he saw Geet playing with Angle but sadness was quite evident in her eyes. He coughed to catch her attention

M: may I come in?

G: Maan, yes, but have you met the advocate, he is in the study with DM

M: I'll meet him later, first I want to say hello to my daughter, hello Angle, come baby Papa is dying to hold you

And he took the bundle of joy in his arms and talked to her Angle was giggling at his every word, and responding to him by kicking and holding his fingers

DM came in after knowing from Nakul that Maan has come but has gone to the nursery, she silently watched the father daughter talking and noticed a mist in Geet's eyes.

DM: Maan, advocate is waiting for you in the study

M: yes, DM I am just coming, I couldn't resist coming here, sorry

DM: its ok beta, you can talk to her later, first go to the study

M: ok, Geet feed her I will then take her with me for a long drive

Geet just nodded

In the study

M: hello sir, sorry to keep you waiting

A: its ok sir

M: did you have some thing, how about some coffee or juice

A: coffee will be fine

Maan called the kitchen and asked for coffee and cookies.

Meanwhile Nakul came in with coffee and cookies and served them

A: shall I brief you with the clauses and settlement details

M: go ahead, I am all ears

After briefing and discussing all the pros and cons the advocate asked

A: will day after tomorrow ok with you

M: fine and what about them

A: they have given this date

M: in which court

A: Family court, at 11 am

M: ok, I'll come to your place at 10 am

A: ok, now shall take your leave

M: thank you

A: my pleasure

After advocate left Maan asked Geet to get ready and said that they will have their dinner out, when Geet objected he took Angle and said

M: are you seeing Angle, your Maa knows that I will not be able to take you alone that is why she is showing so much attitude, she doe not want you to go with me

G: Maan, what absurd are you saying, I never said don't take her, in fact I have fed her and she is ready to go

M did not look at her but said to Angle: beta tell me will I hold you or the steering wheel

Seeing no option Geet also got ready and the three left, with home cooked food as DM would not allow Geet to eat outside as she was still feeding Angle.
