IMAGINE TV NOW BELOW SAB IN GRP CHART

Zee TV, Sony witness GRP upswing

While for Zee the push has primarily come from the shows Ram Milayi Jodi and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, the Boroplus Gold Awards 2011 contributed significantly to the channel's GRPs.
For the week ended July 23, it's Zee TV and Sony Entertainment, the third and fourth players in the top GEC bracket, which have witnessed GRP upswings.
While Zee TV at No. 3, has moved 35 points up the ladder to register 220 GRPs, Sony, standing at the fourth position, has added 11 points to its kitty, to end the week with 193 GRPS. Zee's relative share has also moved up from 14.6 per cent to 17 per cent, while Sony's relative share is 14.9 per cent (14.3 per cent in the previous week).

While for Zee the push has primarily come from the shows Ram Milayi Jodi and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli, the Boroplus Gold Awards 2011, aired on Sunday at 8 pm, delivered a TVR of 3.5. The event contributed approximately 23 GRPs to the channel.
Evidently for Sony, the win has come with its latest show, Bade Achche Lagte Hai.
Star Plus, meanwhile, continues to lead the flock with 316 GRPs in its pocket. It has however lost 4 GRPs in Week 30, while its channel share has dropped from 25.3 per cent to 24.3 per cent.

Colors, at No. 2, has witnessed a 4-point drop during the week to close its grade with 267 GRPs. Its relative share has slid to 20.6 per cent from 21.4 per cent that it had registered in Week 29.
Sony's sibling channel SAB TV has lost 9 points during the week to garner 124 GRPs. Its relative share is also down from 10.5 per cent to 9.5 per cent.
At No. 6, Imagine TV has, to score 66 GRPs. its at at 5.1 per cent. STAR One, with 36 GRPs and a channel share of 2.8 per cent, follows it.
ImaGine tv has such low grps.

Star Plus rides on IIFA; adds 29 extra points to its kitty

According to TAM (C&S4+, HSM), the event scored a peak TVR of 4.33, thereby helping the channel to increase its relative share to 26.1 per cent in Week 31, from 24.3 per cent that it had garnered in Week 30.

Courtesy the 2011 IIFA Awards, market leader Star Plus has added as many as 29 points to its kitty, to push up its GRP grade to 345 for the week ended July 30, 2011.

According to TAM (C&S4+, HSM), the event scored a peak TVR of 4.33, thereby helping the channel to increase its relative share to 26.1 per cent in Week 31, from 24.3 per cent that it had garnered in Week 30.



Meanwhile, Colors at No. 2 has witnessed a one-point drop in its GRPs, to score 266 points during the week. Its relative share, too, saw a dip -- from 20.6 per cent in Week 30, to 20.2 per cent in Week 31.

At No. 3, Zee TV has slipped down by 12 points to score 208 GRPs for the given week, while its relative share, too, has fallen from 17 per cent to 15.8 per cent.

At No. 4, Sony Entertainment has seen a fall in both its GRPs, as well as channel share. While its GRPs have fallen to 190 points from 193 points, its relative share is 14.4 per cent, down from the 14.9 per cent that it had recorded in the previous week.

Sibling channel SAB, at the fifth position, has scored 125 GRPs in Week 31. Its relative channel share is meanwhile stable at 9.5 per cent.

At No. 6, Imagine TV has grown from 66 GRPs in the previous week to 71 GRPs in Week 31. Its relative share has moved up from 5.1 per cent to 5.4 per cent.😊

STAR One, with 37 GRPs and a channel share of 2.8 per cent, follows it.

Sahara One is at No. 8. The channel's relative share and GRPs have dipped marginally to 2.2 per cent (2.5 per cent in the previous week), and 30 GRPs (33 GRPs in the previous week), respectively.

STAR Utsav and DD1 have garnered relative shares of 2.1 per cent and 1.2 per cent, respectively.

yeah it increased slightly because rakhi show is v popular among indian masses and thats what gives trp not you tube watchers and NRI audience😃
