Gauri's current excuse is that she didn't know J was married for five years, got emotionally involved and then over five years reached the point of no-return in her feelings which led her to marry J kanoonan.

Seeing what I have seen of Gauri particularly after this aashirwaad business started... i am of the opinion that she still would have gone ahead even if she had known right in the first year itself about his being a married man.

She initiated the relationship by throwing herself at J and she was obviously extremely attracted to him... she gave him smiles, winked at him, sent him smses, hugged him and yelled I love you Jagat.

J did not initiate the relationship... and initially tried to ward her off because he kept saying "meri koi majboori hai" but went along happily once he felt attracted to her.

I do not absolve J but

My feeling is that even if G had known the truth about him - his identity, the fact that he was the same boy she got married to - and that he was already married -- she would have happily gone into this with eyes wide open.

Any comments?

I certainly see your point, the relationship was initiated and propelled by Gauri in the first place. But my impression of whether she would have gone ahead if she knew J is a married man will totally depend on what she does now, after knowing that J is a married man with a legal wife. 😛

Not going ahead with a married man is a matter of values and ethics. If Gauri has those values, she stick to them and will not continue her relationship with Jagya till he gets a divorce. But if she lacks those values and keeps clinging to Jagya even after knowing everything, I will certainly assume that she would have carried on with her romance even if she knew he was a married man from the beginning.

So my assessment of what Gauri would have done will depend on what Gauri will do. As I have said several times, a person hardly compromises with the values he/she strongly believes in. Situations can prompt compromise, but at the cost of a nagging conscience. Till now Gauri has shown no sense of values, so her actions in future will themselves reveal what she is as a person.

Gauri hasnt shown much values and seeing her parents I doubt she ever got good values from them.She is selfish to the core so we can assume tht she wld have gone ahead with Jagya even after knowing his married status

@ Tinoo, I totally agree with you too, Woman is not wrong either.

But with the way Gauri is going...I also think that it would have been useless if she knew one the first year. Because because a good culture girl will never do what she did to Anandi even if Jagya and Anandi are not legally married by law.
So now if she leaves Jagya, i will not think she has Values and Ethics, I would think she knows jagya is going to jail so she cant wait for him.😆 . In the precap she was more worried about Anandi's punishment to them than their Illegal marriage (i hope am proven wrong tomorrow). So for me...Gauri has no morals, value,or Ethic...she just has Air head Jagya...🤣 and that all she thinks about.

but come to think of it, what she she knew on the first few weeks?... because if we say first year, before the first year ends she was already in love with Jagat. But what if he had told her when they just started becoming friends she might had not gotten herself emotionally involved with him...and what she will do now would show what she would have done back then.
