Geet was standing in her balcony talking on the cordless, Mohinder came out of his room and saw her there, he was about to go to wish her Happy Birthday when Rano pulled him back "what happened? Let me wish her" "later" she said "but" "she's Talking to Maan" "what? But last night also they were talking" asked he in shock, "as if you were never young, remember during our small courtship time, you called me from the STD booth and talked to me for full 20 mins just to wish me" she blushed "yes, but we were not kids then, we were adults" he added "ok, but they are engaged, now no arguments you go freshen up, I'll call her in few minutes"
"Geet, its 6 beta freshen up and have your milk then you can talk to him" called Rano, Geet hurriedly "Maan, will call you later, my parents are up, and Maa is calling me" "ok, should I call then" he asked reluctantly, "I'll call you at 7 ok" she said "ok, I'll be waiting" he said, "you too have your breakfast, by then, BTW you don't have classes today?" she said "yes, no classes, the whole day is for you, my two pigtail witch" he laughed "Maan, I so want to grow my hair, but you always pull them, but now I will wear them long and when you will come after completing your studies, I'll make you drown in them like those bollywood heroines" she said "how romantic?" he said; Rano called again; "ok bye will call you at 7" she rushed.
At 7 she again sneaked in the balcony of their 5th floor flat, and called him, he picked on one ring and they talked. Rano was happy to see there bonding "I hope they always remain this happy" Mohinder said "they will, always, and the good thing is they will live in that beautiful city Bangalore"
"How can you say this for sure?"
"I am 100% sure Mohneesh will establish a huge IT firm there and Maan too will join him"
"What if Maan has other motives?"
"No, he won't have"
"How are you so sure?"
"The day he was leaving for Kota, I heard these two love birds talking"
"You sneaked in, that's not fair'
"Come on, they she was saying that Maan its absolute rubbish when Your father is working so hard to establish the IT firm you should go for Computer engineering from at least an IIT, and join him"
"And what did he say?"
"Nothing, but my Geet continued and in the end he had to promise her that he will study hard and will join his father, after all she is my daughter, she knows her way"
Rano laughed and sat in the living room with her husband, watching 8 o'clock English news on DD1 while pealing peas and Geet was still in the balcony talking on the phone.
Rano again asked him "Mohneesh Bhai is in town?"
"Yes, he will most probably come for either lunch or dinner"
"Lunch or dinner?"
"Now your ladli is on phone from ages how can I ask him, and even if he were calling he won't be getting any line as our phone is busy"
"When are they leaving for Bangalore? Bhabhi is also shifting there"
"Yes, now that Maan is in Kota, she had decided to move to Bangalore with Mohneesh"
"Yes, that's nice that she shifts, have they taken any flat of have rented"
"Not yet they still live in that rented flat, but they plan to buy one big Mansion, once Maan gets back after engineering"
"That's great"

"I miss you so much, even sakku bai was saying Maan Baba nahin aaye kai dino se" she said, "I wanted to come but you only said no, hey Geet the other day Arjun was saying you will soon forget me if we did not meet quite often" he said "will you forget me?" she asked, "never" he said with an attitude, "ok, if I'll forget then you will be there to remind me, and I have this engagement ring to remind me" she said

"Maan, something is wrong it seems that'..MAAAN" and the world went blank, she was thrown out of the balcony like a leaf in strong wind and she only remembered crashing down on something.
Meanwhile her parents just felt the floor shaking and before they could understand what happened they were under tons of debris and the good thing that happened was that they did not feel anything as the girder fell on them and they instantly blacked out.

I am back with another story RESCUE... it is as you all know based on the tragic earthquake, the families have suffered a lot in that tragedy... this is an attempt to portray their emotional turmoil... but it is not a tragedy ... it is full on tender romance and no censored😳 scenes OK may be one or two😉
