A Drunken Melody
Then there was complete silence
Emotions rose and flooded with hushed hindrance
A sad source of light blinded their sight
One that was confused and that sat in fright
And like every love story...
Both their hearts were broken and left in tragedy.
There sat a moon on the sky that twinkled as they laughed hard. The beach silent and weary of those around while the humble shores swished to the sound of battling waves that washed on to their feet. The night silenced by the voice of life, as a whisky laugh exchanged and shook their hearts.
"I hate him!"
"I hate her!"
They yelled after one another, a drunken melody to the moon that sat comfortable and mocked their broken hearts. Roars of wasted laughter unleashed upon them, as they chortled loud yet their voice trembled in melancholy, trying
and erasing any sort of emotion that embedded within.
Slowly and slow the colour of the sky darkened, further descending into the unknown. Their bottles clinched in palms while both drank away the pain that soothed their souls.
The day was lost and the moon had come out and under the stars and close to the wide sea Armaan and Ridhimma sat watching and laughing at nature that reminiscent their broken hearts.
Slowly and slow the colour of the sky darkened, further descending into the unknown. Their bottles clinched in palms while both drank away the pain that soothed their souls.
The laughs died down as sprinkles of water eroded their sight. Rain, now? Both turned towards each other's reach, confused, puzzled and drunk. Watching the rain jump freely into the pool of water, buried and forgotten feelings awakened in the cries of the rain.
Their eyes once more met but with an urge flickered by changing mood of the night. It stormed. Rained and washed their drunken breaths yet they sat still, staring blurrily and battling emotions that rose and flooded within the hushed hindrance. Echoing and deafening both with silence that shivered in their skin.
Sprinkles of water run down the curve of her face, delicately and innocently kissing the pale of her skin. The bright blue of his eyes warmed with a soothing light comforting her even in the dead of night. The desire to burn in each other's embrace had risen yet both sat lost in the depth of each other's souls.
Holding breaths intact, he leapt forward slow & frightful, and with caution their lips met. The night once again whistled and danced in heavy rains as their bodies collided in a warm embrace.
Then there was complete silence
Emotions rose and flooded with hushed hindrance
A new source of light poured in their sight
One that was dazed and sought to take flight
And like every love story...
Both their hearts and bodies met in beauty.
