Gaikwad dedicates CSK's 103-run win against MI to Mukesh Choudhary

Anjali and Mayur came back home after the college, arguing on some point.
"Tu chalega" Anjali said throwing her purse on the table.
"Nahin di, please next week project submission hai, main nahin jaaunga"
"Mayur, please dekh bhai chal le na. Ek toh tu itne dino baad aaya hai hum kahin gaye bhi nahin hain, chal le na recreation bhi ho jaayega, Neha bhi hogi aur Avishi bhi chal rahi hai."
Anjali smiled as she paused after saying the name Avishi. Mayur looked up at Anjali and when he found Anjali smiling, he couldn't stop himself.
"What?" Mayur didn't like her smiling.
"Kya?"
"Aap hans kyun rahe ho?"
"Ainvayi"
"Di' aap jo bhi soch rahe ho waisa kuch nahin hai. OK"
Anjali gave him a unknown look "Main'main kya soch rahi hoon" She paused and smiled "Kyun mujhe kuch sochna hai kya. Nahin' agar mujhe kuch sochna hai toh mujhe bata sakta hai"
"Di aap bhi na"
"Nahin tu ye bata' nahin main keh rahi hoon tu chal raha hai"
"Di.."
"Mayu'"
"Main aapse nahin jeet sakta. Accha main chal raha hoon. Ek minute, par wo form par papa ke sign chahiye honge aur mere paas toh form hai hi nahin"
Anjali took out two forms from her purse "Par mere paas hain"
Mayur took them from her hand and looked at it. "Aapko'"
"Actually mujhe pata tha tu jaayega." She smiled.

It was 10:05 Anjali and Nupur were in the living room while Mayur was in his room.
"Anjali tu so ja Mayank aayenge toh main sign karwa lungi." Nupur said
"Nahin papa aayenge" Anjali said gazing at the door.
She then saw a girl of about 10 years running towards the gate as she heard the doorbell.
"Papa aa gaye, papa aa gaye"
Nupur, quiet young, came and opened the door. But it was not Mayank.
The smile on her face dropped and she went back to the couch and started playing with her doll. Nupur came and consoled her. "Anjali, papa kaam par gaye hain, unhein der lag jaayegi, toh Anjali acche bacchon ki tarah so jaayegi aur phir subah papa se milegi. Haina"
Anjali nodded her face while looking at the doll.
"Mujhe papa ko apna result card dikhana hai. Main first aayi hoon aur papa abhi tak nahin aaye."
"Ok.. toh Anjali ko ye batana hai. Aisa karo tum abhi so jaao, papa jaise hi aayenge main unhein tumhaare room mein bhej dungi. Ok"
"Ok" Anjali picked her doll and went to her room.
At around 12 in the night Mayank arrived. Nupur took the bag from his shoulder.
"Aaj bohot late ho gayye" Nupur said
"Hmm' aaj bohot kaam tha. Year ending hai na. Maine kitni baar kaha hai tum so jaaya karo Nupur, guard hai bahar door kholne ke liye. Bacche so gaye."
"Mayur toh kab ka so gaya aur Anjali abhi tak tumhaara intzaar kar rahi thi aur thodi der pehle hi maine use bheja hai sone. Usse apna result dikhana tha tumko."
Hearing this, Mayank turned towards Anjali's room.
"Mayank' khana.."
"Haan' ek minute"
Mayank slowly opened the door of Anjali's room. He found torchlight beneath the bedsheet which was covering Anjali. She was doing something hidden inside it.
Mayank slowly went near her and sneaked inside the bedsheet.
"Anjali kya kar rahi hai" Mayank said looking at the broken piggy bank and some coins and notes spread over the bed.
Anjali smiled looking at his father. "Papa aap aa gaye."
Mayank then picked her in his arms and switched on the lights of the room.
"Papa ek baat poochoon"
"Haan"
"Papa aapko ek din ki kitni salary milti hai?"
Mayank smiled and then said "Kyun?"
"Bataao na"
Mayank said just to answer her question "600"
"Ok" Anjali then left Mayank and brought a pen and paper. She did some calculations on the page and then picked some coins from her bed.
"Toh agar main aapko 25 rupees doon daily, toh aap ek ghante jaldi aa jakte ho?" Anjali said looking curiously in his eyes. On the other hand Mayank had no answer to her innocent question. He just picked her up in his arms. "Anjali jab kahegi tab papa aa jaayenge. OK"
Anjali smiled and kissed on his cheeks "My best Papa."
"Chalo ab mujhe apna result card dikhaao"
Anjali heard the horn of a car. She looked at the clock, it was 10:15. She ran towards the door. Mayank entered and smiled.
He gave her a side hug. "Kaisa raha aaj ka college?"
"Badiya."
"Toh mere paas tumhaare liye ek cheez hai" Mayank said looking for something in his pockets of black suit. He took out a letter and handed over it to Anjali.
Anjali quickly opened up the letter.
Ms. Anjali,
As per your application for the training in our company, we have appointed you as a trainee for two months in the company. You will be working under the Managing Director of the company. You are requested to join the training from 15 July 2011.
Mayank Sharma
(CEO, Sehgal Corporation)
Anjali jumped with joy, "Thanks papa."
"Ye toh tumhaara hi kamaal hai, maine issmein kuch nahin kiya hai, bas sign kara hai maine. Aaj saare interviews the, issliye main late ho gaya."
"Papa, main kal se join kar sakti hoon?" She then paused. "Par humaara college humein do din picnic par le jaa raha hai"
"Kab?"
"Saturday ko"
"Toh kal Friday hai, aur office weekends par tumhein nahin bulaayega. Ok, so smile"
Anjali smiled and then picked up the form "Ye forms par aapke sign chahiyein."
"Do forms kiske hain?"
"Mayur bhi jaa raha hai na."
"Really, chalo accha hai" Mayank signed the papers and returned it to her "Khoob maze karna. OK"
"Thank you papa."

After Anjali left, Nupur came with two plates. Instead, of having several servants in the house, Nupur always preffered cooking and serving by herself.
"Mayank, khana ready hai"
Mayank and Nupur sat beside each other.
"Bacche ja rahe hain ghumne"
"Haan, mujhe bataya Anjali ne, accha hai sab mil kar ghoom aayenge" Nupur said
"Toh hum bhi chalein?" Mayank smiled waiting for Nupur's reaction.
Nupur smiled "Mayank, tum do jawaan bacchon ke baap ho, unki umar ghoomne ki hai, humaari nahin"
"Phir beech mein umar aa gayi, tum buddhi ho gayi ho? Aur koi tumhein aunty bulaata hai toh tum jal bhun jaati ho"
"Tumse baat karna bekar hai"
"Nahin tum suno, Anjali kab paida hui thi?"
"15 October ko."
"Nahin tum tab kitni badi thi?"
"Main'umm..18"
"Ab Anjali kitani badi hai?"
"19"
"Toh tum kitni ki hui?"
"Umm.."
"Main batata hoon'37" Mayank held her hand in his and continued "Nupur Anjali jaldi ho gayi thi, humaari shaadi jaldi ho gayi thi toh isska matlab ye toh nahin ki hum jaldi buddhe ho jaayenge?"
"Par Mayank"
"Nupur'. Accha tumhein wo Jiya yaad hai"
"Jo tumpar line marti thi"
"Hey bhagwaan, wo pregnant hai."
"Tumne??"
"Nupur, isse pehle ki tum kuch aur socho, jo ki shayad tum soch chuki ho, usski aur Abhinav ki shaadi hui thi 3 saal pehle, wo ab pehli baar expect kar rahi hai. Toh kya wo buddhi ho gayi?"
Nupur was looking in her eyes, unable to give any answer. Mayank continued "That's my point, Nupur, 20 saal pehle jo bhi hua, usski wajah se tum apni zindagi jeena kyun band kar rahi ho. Tumne dono bacchon ko bada karne mein koi kami nahin rakhi aur ab wo itne bade ho gaye hain ki khud ka dhyaan rakh sakein toh tum sab ki jagmata ban na chodo. Apne liye bhi jiyo, ye tumhaari zindagi hai, kabhi bandishon mein mat jiyo. Tum samajh rahi ho na main kya keh raha hoon."
"Mayank, tum nahin hote toh mera kya hota" Nupur hugged him.
"Aur agar tum nahin hoti toh main hota hi nahin, Nupur." Mayank said embracing her.
Next morning Anjali got ready in a plain peach coloued shiffon churidaar suit. She placed her file and important stuff in her bag and went downstairs for the breakfast.
Mayank and Mayur also arrived by then.
Anjali was about to sit on the chair, when the doorbell rang. She went and opened the door and found Avishi standing on the door. Behind her she could see Adhiraj in the car.
"Beta, I am heading for an important meeting. If hope you people will not have problem in dropping one more person to the college."
"No problem, uncle. Mayur and Avishi will go together."
After Adhiraj left, Anjali closed the door and turned towards the table with Avishi.
"Avishi, tum yahaan baitho." She said pointing towards the chair beside Mayur.
Mayur and Anjali passed a look at each other.
After the breakfast finished.
"Di.. aap college nahin chal rahe?" Avishi asked.
"Nahin' meri training shuru ho gayi hai, toh main aaj Papa ke saath office jaaungi" Anjali replied "Tum dono jaao'. aur Mayu Avishi ka dhyaan rakhna"
Mayur and Avishi looked at each other and then away from each other.

Anjali entered the Sehgal Corporation's office. A building painted in shades of beige and coffee. She stepped towards the reception and enquired for further details. Only the old staff members knew about Anjali being Mayank's daughter and who can say Mayank was a father of a 19 year old girl, ignoring his muscular and toned body.
An old watchman stood up and saluted as Anjali passed but placed her finger on her lips in a gesture to keep it as a secret in the whole office. Anjali accompanied other trainees present in the cabin of Managing Director of the company.
After a few minutes, everyone could see a young entering from the door, tucking his tie up and moving in full confidence towards his chair. Dressed in a steel grey suit, the man gestured everyone to sit down.
"Hi, I am Sameer Malhotra and you all will be working under my supervision for the next two months. Your schedule has been placed in your cubicles, you can check them out. For me there is only one rule, DO IT UNTIL YOU ACHIEVE IT."
Everyone left the cabin and Anjali was the last one to leave. Sameer called her. "Excuse me"
Anjali turned to face him. "Yes"
"Can you please pass the copy of this circular to Mr. Mayank Sharma, his cabin is second to the right"
Anjali took the circular from his hand and she noticed him carefully, he had a boyish charm in his looks yet he looked so mature.
"Yeah, I'll pass this, Sir"
"No, please call me Sameer" he smiled and handed over the circular to her.

Anjali knocked on the door bearing the nameplate Mayank Sharma (CEO). Her hands unintentionally dragged on the engraved alphabets of the nameplate. She could feel standing there the power of her father in the company, but at home he was always a father and a husband. He never brought work at home. Anjali gently knocked on the door "May I come in."
She heard the familiar voice "Come in."
She opened the door and could see the blue walls of the room. On the left side there was a coffee table placed between two couches and in front of her eyes she could see her father working on his laptop. She remembered when she was about 10-12 years, she had come here. The walls were yellow that time. She could see the logo of Sehgals behind the wall. She slowly stepped forward.
"Sir" she said gently.
"Yes" Mayank looked up and found Anjali standing in front of him.
"Sir, ye Mr. Sameer ne aapke liye bhijwaaya hai"
"Anjali" Mayank was a bit surprised on seeing his daughter.
"Yes, pa__ Sir" saying this Anjali smiled.
Mayank smiled back and took the circular from her hand and said "Now you may leave."

Anjali was a friendly girl. In a moment anyone could easily get with her. Her smile could attract anyone. Many of her co-workers were dying to ask for her number or moreover to go on a date with her. But Anjali was a simple girl, nurtured with the ethics by her mother, Nupur. Like every girl, she also dreamt of a partner like her father was to her mother, a partner who could understand the unspoken words, a partner on whom she could rely anytime. She believed in the concept of love after marriage but she never underestimated love marriages. She always liked the dream of Neha to run away from home and marry on a hill station, and she could also understand the 'never-to-fall-in LOVE' criteria of Mayur. She was a girl of her own principles, a face of her mother and ideals of her father, Mayank.
In the lunchtime, Sameer saw her moving from here to there in the whole cafeteria. At one moment she was on one table and at other she was on another. He could only see her smile. She spoke less. Sameer could easily find her variant among the crowd.
In the evening after binding up her work, Anjali was waiting for Mayank in the car parking. After a while Mayank came and stopped the car. Mayank always liked to drive the car on his own, there were drivers but for other works, for office he wanted to drive on his own. Sameer on the other hand took out his bike from the parking and saw Anjali sitting in Mayank's car. He kept looking at the car until it vanished from his sight.
