Well- Bhago's reaction as a mother is very normal but before screaming to J, she should first curse herself and think what she and her hubby has done for their daughter.
J did not think about A and her sacrifices and was selfish; as parents, Bhago Khajan almost did the same thing. They mainly thought about their social status at the cost of their daughter's life !!
It's understandable that they faced social pressure, did they even try to fight with social norms in-spite of repeated pleas by Teacher ji? NO . At least they could have delayed A's marriage as long as things don't go out of their hands.
Even when they knew that A is not treated well by DS they did not do anything. Infact, when A escaped from sasra, it was Bhago Khajan, who took her to haveli to be a good beendni!
Bhago blamed A for ruining their life and in turn we saw a 11 year old child is pleading before DS to accept her as beendni.Did they think what A wants? NO. They asked their daughter to be a good beendni at the tender age of 11 so that no one blames them in the society. When J was brainwashed by DS and was jealous of A's success, Bhago adviced A not to pursue her study.
Only once, they showed concern for A was when Khajan wanted to take A back with them after the Mahapanchayat drama. I hope BK realize their mistakes or else, if Teacher ji gives them a good piece of her mind, it's better.
