Balaji Tele ventures into ad-film production

Mumbai: Leading production house Balaji Telefilms is set to venture into Ad and Corporate Films production as part of its operations.

Kalpana Ravi, with fifteen years of experience in this field, would be looking after this venture. ''We have already established ourselves in television as well as the film industry with quite a few successful serials and films to our credit. Being a television production house, we already have the required in-house expertise and producing advertising and corporate films is just an extension of our working arm. We have a production infrastructure few can boast of. This can be put to good use in providing value for money to the clients. While we do not intend to come in at the low end we can make sure that we deliver value for the buck, one of the promoters'' said Ekta Kapoor in a press release. ''We are always looking to expand our boundaries not limiting ourselves to anything. Advertising holds vast potential, which we think, deserves our attention. Ravi, I think is perfect for this post considering her prior achievements and I expect nothing but the best from her,'' she added. Ravi has worked with Sahara One Television, ZEE Telefilms Pvt Ltd India, Karan Productions, Pritish Nandy Communications and Everest Advertising apart from her initial stints with well known Indian advertising commercial directors like Prahlad Kakkad, Sumantrao Ghosal, Ram Madhvani, Nomita Roy Ghosh and Shubir Chatterji, John Mathew Mathan, B R Films and others. ''I am very excited to join Balaji Telefilms. It has always redefined creativity and it is a challenge I am ready to accept. I am looking forward to working with them,'' says Ravi.
