Does no one think Abhay was unwise to threaten that wretched Dipannita so directly as he's shown to be doing in the precap for tinight's (Tuesday, 26th July 2011) ep?
This brings to mind the scene in Twilight's 'Breaking Dawn' where, after a moment of bravado, Bella and Edward both realize that in a faceoff with the Volturi, there is no "They can't make me do anything" for either of the two.
Their love for each other is their *very* well-known vulnerability.
If the Volturi got either one of them in their power, the other one could be made to jump through hoops.
And that was with Bella as a powerful vampire in her own right. Even before that, she had wanted to be a vampire. So an emergency bringing-over wouldn't have caused an adverse situation.
Here in PKYEK, Abhay is playing the initial Edward angle of 'Keep away from me for your safety and precious humanity.' When he lies to Piya, she believes it. But that isn't the problem. It could be worked around.
The problem here is that Piya made it very clear that she loathes even the thought of being turned into a vampire. She has effectively ensured that Abhay and his parents know that the one means of protecting her and drastically reducing her vulnerability is a non-option as far as she's concerned.
Anyone who knows Abhay is a vampire also knows that, even more than for his parents, he'll do anything for Piya. If Dipannita takes it to that level and places Piya - even covertly - in danger, Abhay would not only be willing to give up, he would probably have Piya misunderstanding his intentions as nefarious yet again while doing so.
Abhay should have avoided calling and threatening that horrid woman, when his own dearest vulnerability is walking around and getting into all sorts of trouble without even having the werewolves actually against her.
On a tangent, either Neel and Jay both or just one of them may be unaware that their deceased relative and other werewolves were shepherding the Dobriyal sisters to Sid and Maithli for dinner.
