I personally enjoyed the introduction of SD on this show. On the show the elders MotaBha, GigaKaka, PB & JK all bow down to greet SD and she sits like a queen mother. This is unique to the culture of Sub-Continent where the elders really enjoy their position by the respect and love. (although, this too is being affected by modernization and munni badnaam hui art form) Normally such elderly ladies are very stern and strict in their behavior but characters like SD are also present around us and loved. Youngsters like to sit with them and they enjoy their company as they can interact with everyone. They have all the experience and they speak out and question everything on face, unless it is required to be kept exclusive.
It was embarrassing for Talli-Gulaal-Kesar when she asks about Talli and why is she with Kesar and then 'is she the one who wanted to marry Kesar?' "did she not know that he was already.." and Gulaal senses it coming and interrupts and she tries to cover up by offering to take her to her room.
Status of deeyar vatoo:
In spite of Gulaal agreeing with MotaBha in front of everyone that she will hide this fact from SD but she spurts it out (Mein jahan bhi rahooon gi..) when she is given the gift and SD confides in her that she is the only one who can keep this family together. (Gulaal suffers from amenesia!)
On more than one occasion JK tries to leak out this news to SD but gets stopped. JK and now Raman will try their best to break this news to SD for the sake of the 500 acre land.
SD is a very sharp person, if she knew about Talli wanting to marry Kesar then she would also be aware of Kesar and Gulaal relationship, after all entire village knew about their going to Panchayaat.
So therefore she has stepped in and will soon create situations for Kesar and Gulaal to get closer. I think she will play the critical role in saving their marriage.
Kesar and Gulaal:
I understand that there is a hesitancy between the too, but in my opinion its being over exaggerated. Gulaal lying on the bed is nothing new, when she was sick he was in her room the whole night (even put his finger on her lips), and slept at her feet. She has been in love and married and therefore is not like a 16 years old sharmilli tim tim. Its just being dragged taking it till the end of the show. At this pace of interaction, Gulaal might hit her menopause before she hits the sack with Kesar or end of the show whichever is earlier. As per the pandit's predictions about Gulaal 2 marriages, where second one will sustain, should calm down the GK fans unless the pandit reappears on this show and tells RevaJi that that was a typo??? She has one marriage and that will sustain (meaning Vasant back on the scene), or both the marriages will broken meaning Gulaal walks away and Kesar goes back to the boarding school.
Observation about the bed:
Its a huge bed, maybe designed for three people, Gulaal-Talli-Kesar. Could they have not slept on outward sides?? but drama bhi koi cheez hoti hai. Kesar was sleeping on the balcony floor so he could have slept on the floor in the room too. Kursi par totay ki tarah aankhein moondanein ka kya matlab?
Blooper: When SD brings Kesar back to his room, Gulaal is not wearing the piece of jewelery between her maang (bindi or maang teeka?). Its not there even when she sits on the bed, in between when the camera pans up from Vasant photo it appears on her head and then when Gulaal sleeps with her head against the bedsupport its not there.
Talli:
She was busy in giving expressions. She hardly had anything to say. She is behaving quite abnormally with Kunaal. But with SD in the house, Talli's chance of ever getting married to Kesar are almost non-existent unless she comes back in his life with a wild-card entry.
Kunaal repeating that he has to go to the city may have some turn in the story. But she is under SD bombardment. When SD asks her about cooking and then tells her that Gulaal ko dekh, apne pati ke liye kitna acha khana banati hai, and Talli looks up and her expression cannot be deciphered easily. I guess its more like "Really???"
Raman: Its a great example that when someone does something wrong, he thinks that he will never get caught and fool all the people, all the time. His plans are simply stupid and they all will be caught easily and Dushy will do that. I think JK is going to lose both her sons, one fighting against and other fighting for the family. It could be for the 500 acre land, if Kesar dies the entire land goes to JK sons. Dushy may give his life saving Kesar's hence paying back for taking life of Gulaal's first love and husband and saving her love and second husband.
Yogesh: This thread has been introduced. Although its a side line thread but will take time on the screen.
If this show is going to end in next 15-20 episodes, then trying to run so many tracks in parallel may be the reason to save the show as Talli-Gulaal-Kesar triangle has lost its charm and Gulaal personality has not stayed as attractive to most of the viewers and its not taking it anywhere. So we will be seeing lesser of GK interaction with all these track running concurrently including SD gameplan in the house.
