Let's hope Raam's Daadi is a positive character

Really hope Raam's Daadi, who is supposed to attend the wedding, is the one (and maybe only) positive character in his otherwise den of scoundrels.

She could be a no-nonsense matriarch who comes from humble origins, and who helps her son (Raam's dad) build a successful business (but was not able to give him sufficient morals not to have a secret family on the side).

She would see through the shenanigans of Kaykei and Shakuni and the other rascals, recognize the true worth of Priya, and lovingly accept her as her grand-bahu. She would warn Priya about the scallywags and get her to promise to protect Raam from their evil intentions, but also never to reveal their true colours to Raam otherwise he shatters.

She would tell Karthik not to hesitate to do what's required to rein in Nutzilla and come to her if Raam creates new problems.

Oh well, maybe its too much to expect.

I also hope that ram grand mother' s charater should be positiv.. Because it have to be a positv charater in Ram house.. Aswell support priya too.. But it going to be fan because priya's nani also going too atend their wedding! Let see wht happend!

I also hope they get an actress who looks like she could be a Daadi, and not someone who is only 10 years older than Ram. Any word on who could be playing Daadi? I'm hoping to see Sudha Shivpuri and see her and Ram again after Kasamh Se--they had great chemistry on that show.

On a different note, when Ram's Dad dies, the flashback showed him saying that Raam's mother does not know about the secret second life he held. Do you think it's possible that Raam's mother is still alive, but estranged from raam by the step-mom?

Seriously I hope the last question u raised scenario never happens ...Imagine the poor Mom cheated of her husband and son too

I also hope that Ram's Daadi is a positive character. Other than Sudha Shivpuri, the actress who played Masi in Kasamh Se, Seema Bhargav, would also be a good choice. It would be nice to see both of them as the Daadi and Naani.
