She attended her regular college till February first week, and her teachers who already were told that no as she ix to due she has to miss classes for next 2 months co-operated and gave her the schedule of works to be covered during her absence.

At KM

DM: Geet beta what is taking you so long, come soon we are getting late for the flight

M: DM you are not going by some flight then why are you bothering her?

DM: if she knew that we are leaving by private plane she would take the whole day

M: and what makes you think so?

DM: ok, I am sitting here, go and check her, she probably would be sulking in some corner of her room, crying not to leave

M: DM you are overreacting, she is just a bit afraid, that's all

Maan went to her room and she was no where he wondered where she has gone and then saw her sitting in the balcony with her head rested on the railing, he shrugged 'women'

M: actually Geet I did not want to tell you this before, but as you seem reluctant to leave I must tell you

G: you will be there?

G: but you are not coming with us

M: yes I am not coming now, but you are due on 22^nd and believe me I'll be there before you go in labor

As they came down DM has already resumed her position on the sofa and gave them a tired look

DM: its ok, and before we leave Nakul serve us some high tea, come beta sit with me, and Maan you too join us, God knows when we will have this privilege of being together next

M: very soon DM

DM: wow, so you are coming for Valentine's Day to meet us

M: why the V- day

DM: Maan, won't you wish me personally and give me a gift, who else can be your valentine other then me

Maan looked at Geet and smiled and as he id so Geet blush not aware that she did

M: of course DM I'll be there on 14^th and bring Vicky also with me long with his Girl friend, hey Geet what's he r name

G: Anaya (then she bit her tongue) oh no,

M: so Geet, you are sharing things with Vicky too

DM giggled: that's why she knew so much about Vicky, yes Maan invite her along with Yash and Pari, and we will have some fun, at Shimla.

Geet and DM settled in Shimla, it was a cozy cottage one's that were constructed during the British Empire days near the Mall Road, soon both ladies along with Nakul and his wife made it look like a long lived home.

Today was 14^th and neither Maan nor Vicky turned out, DM was all complaining and the way she kept looking out amused Geet and she even laughed out loud.

The phone rang and DM took it

DM: hello (it was Vicky on the other side)

V: hi, N Maa happy Valentine's Day

DM: same to you, but where are you?

V: in my college, I called home, but was told that you two ladies left for Canada, I were confused so I called office and bro told me you are here

DM: Maan is in the office?

V: hey granny any problem, tell me I'll solve it

DM: no, no problem, thanks for calling

And she abruptly hanged, she was disappointed that Maan was not coming; she called the office number and was told by Pinky that Maan was in a meeting she can call him on his cell. 'Pinky is also in the office, so Maan is not coming' and thinking this she went to the kitchen where Geet was helping Nakul with cake icing, and other eatables

DM: no use of all this, no one is coming

G: DM, just relax Vicky is just kidding, they all are due to leave as soon as the meeting is over

DM: and how are you so sure?

G: DM, it's obvious this meeting should have been important, and when Maan promised that the will bring them all, trust him he will may be late but all will be here before the evening

DM: so much trust,

G: I came after you two only because I trusted you, when I trusted you when you were strangers so there is no point in not trusting when I know you two so well. Chill DM chill.

DM wondered does Maan feel the same for Geet, she hoped that the feelings were mutual.

And as Geet had said they all came in by 4 pm and the rest of the day went with fun and frolic, though Geet most of the time sat on the couch she made sure all were fed well and enjoyed thoroughly, she played an efficient hostess.

everyone gave a gift to DM and Geet, everyone left early next morning, then the two ladies started unwrapping the gifts, they were beautiful, but DM was much interested in what Maan gave Geet, but she found that none of the gifts belonged to Maan, she checked herself from not asking Geet, but the old lady gave up and

DM: hey Geet here are all the gifts, but where is Maan's gift

G: DM you are kidding?

DM: pardon

G: you asked him to give it to me, and now you are pretending as if you don't know

DM: who told you?

G: if course Maan, when he gave it to me he said that you have asked him to give it to me, in case I did not get any gifts

DM (when did I ask him): ok then show it to me

G: look

And she slid her duppatta exposing a gold chain with a gold pendant that said Angel in cursive writing, it had ruby and topaz underlining the name, DM was speechless, the pendant was beautiful definitely made as per Maan's instructions. She kissed Geet's forehead and blessed her.
