'Is Katrina Kaif foolish?'

Much is being said about 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' ('ZNMD') - from Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan's sensational kiss to Katrina and Kalki Koechlin's catfights.

Now, though the kiss-part is true (there is indeed a sensational kiss between Kat and Hrithik in the movie), Kalki recently denied any unpleasant vibe between her and her female co-star.

Also, there were talks that Katrina actually has a miniscule role in 'ZNMD', in fact lesser screen space than even Kaliki! When we asked director Zoya Akhtar for a clarification, she said, "Do you think Katrina kaif is foolish? She read the script; If her role was actually less important or not significant enough, why would she say 'Yes' to the film at all? The fact that she shot for it and is now promoting it, she must be quite happy with her part, I think."

Ask her, given that 'zindagi na milegi dobara', what's the one thing she would ask Katrina to do? "Katrina lives life on her own terms. She does what she wants to. She really lives as though zindagi na milegi dobara. Look at where she has reached - from not knowing Hindi to knowing it and being one of the most sought after actresses. All credit to her, hats off!"

No. She might be as others say, dumb, a firangi, not know any hindi, plastic, man-stealer, a faker, a liar etc etc, but she is most definitley not foolish.

I second that. She deifnitely knows how to work her way around Bollywood and choose the films that will do well at the box office. So no, she's far from foolish. She's lacking in the acting department but it's obviously not a hinderance in her career!

Lets see what happens to her. If she starts to deliver flops today, she would be forgotten, because she doesn't have even one average good role on her credit. And actresses are rememberd for their memorable roles. I think in her case til yet, its all about luck. And yes, in my opinion, some people are lucky, and get lots out of life, because of luck, and some hardworking and talented people are just not lucky enough and things don't go right for them.

I agree she is indeed quite lucky. Time will tell if her luck still holds or if it runs out.

ZMND is going to her first release after teh announcement of break up...so let us see if she continue to give HITS or this is the end for her dream run...😉

Nothing is going to happen to Katrina Kaif for a long long time. She has been here since 2003 and her career has never shown a decline since. Thats 8 years. Compare that to Kareena's 11 years and PC's 8 years. Katrina is the number one actress in bollywood right now despite no acting skills. No wonder she is getting all these coveted projects.

Funny, kareena has twice as many movies or at least same amount of movies coming up, as katrina, but when it comes to her, people call her movies, with bigger roles than kitti) not so coveted projects. But when it comes to katrina, all her same type of projects, become coved projects.
is double standard ko main kiya naam don. Papularity is like a buble, it never stays. its gonna fade away soon, then katrina doesn't even have a guder, or humraaz like amisha. At least people remember amisha a lil bit because of, some of her good work.

But isnt that the silver lining? SHe doesn't even need to do a good in-depth memorable role to be so popular, keep getting projects and have a growing fanbase.

She is called the number-one actress even after her mediocrity on screen, that only further establishes her success. Its like making toast, and being paid the same amount as making a gourmet dinner. It may seem unfair, and sort of ridiculous, but ultimatley who is winning? Me. Thats the Katrina situation. And yes popularity shifts, but its suppoesed to. it doesnt mean that person has failed. When katrina's fanbase and popularity dies down i am pretty sure it will be because of either her aging or her own desire to opt out.
