The competition between Salman and Shah Rukh was extremely close, but the Baadshah of Bollywood came out victorious once again! Rani's competition included her cousin Kajol and Aishwarya Rai, but her outstanding performances lately, especially in 'Black' clinched the deal! Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black' also won for the Favorite Film category. Kunal Kapoor won the for the Favourite Naya Hero category, even though Kunal Khemu was close behind. Vidya Balan won the Sabsey Favourite Nayi Heroine over Katrina Kaif. Paresh Rawal bagged the Comic Hero Award for the third year in a row. The Sabsey Tez Sitara Award went to John Abraham. The Sabsey Bada Fan Award went to Mrs. Madhuri M. Madekar from Kalyan as the fan who voted the most number of times for the eventual winner. Besides the awards ceremony there were hilarious comedic skits and amazing performances by Trickbaby, Udita Goswami and Kunal Khemu, which rocked! The unveiling of the video to the song 'Nine Parts of Desire', featuring Abhishek Bachchan was a highlight of the night's events. Without a doubt the showstopper was Hrithik Roshan in a thrilling performance tracking his journey from 'Koi Mil Gaya' to 'Krrish'. This was his first ever stage performance based on 'Krrish'.
