Salman as made Sonashki a hit with debanng (ATBB). Now all our chasing her a heroine with about 10-15 lines, and yes this dialogue saab main thappar se nahni lekin pyar se dharti hoon lol.

Salman's presence and help matters. Yes Zarine did not suceed initially, but she got ready item song and she is a hit now and getting movies now Asin Ghanji helped her some but now with Ready all top stars lining at her door. One hit can make You or anyone a star. So don't rule out Zarine. People used to say the same about Katrina till 2007. Sonashki did just in one movie lol. All that matters in bolly is a hit.

But nobody is denying that Salman helped Katrina and got her oppurtunities. What some in this topic were saying was that Salman is NOT responsible for Katrina's hits. Salman cannot force the audience to watch someone on screen if the audience doesn't connect to them in the first place.

Sohail and Arbaaz may have an ATBB or whatever but are they popular? Do people actually go watch a movie because they are in them? I most certainly don't..and I hardly know of people who do. In fact I've always considered Sohail/Arbaaz to be like Uday Chopra--getting movies because of their famous family but nobody really cares.

Salman, over the years has backed numerous people. Besides Katrina and now Sonakshi I suppose, most are history, Clearly Kat has something about her that connects to the audience because if she didn't, directors/producers would not line up outside her house whether she is Salman's GF or not.

I think benig with him help get her noticed. I think shes around because she does not get into controversy's like others. Also, Salman is still there to give her emotional support and to help guide her as they are together😉. Plus, in interviews, she always shes what has Salman said, because she wants to say exactly what he says.

A support sytem helps. Many others don't have that.I think Zarine will also succed as she has the support sytem though she is not his gal but the support is their. Also, Akshay gets paired with gals Salman helps these days😆

Jess, being Salman's GF definitely got her noticed but it didn't get her success. As for Zarine, she's known for being the Katrina Kaif look-alike more than anything else. I'm not sure about how far she will go in Bollywood.

My thoughts are similar to chocolover. I am also not denying the fact the Salman helped Katrina...it's quite obvious but Kat also has contributed to that success. Simply by recommending somebody name to a producer/director will not help...Kat LUCK is also huge reason why she is still here.

My problem is when people are like Kat is a star entirely because of Salman. He helped ok... but you can't take Kat's effort/luck/hard work away from it either.

If you are going to include Ajnabee, Aitraz, Chup Chup ke and Omkara (all of which are average to flops acc to BOI) as hits, why are you leaving out De Dana Dan, TMK, Sarkar - all of which are of abover average to semi hit status? At least have the tiniest semblance of fairness when you are going to spout of statistics to prove your point. Before JWM, the only hit Bebo had was KKKG.

Why is this a Bebo vs Katrina debate? How is either qualified to endorse a pen? Anyways I think the advertisers though lets get Katrina over Kareena as Katrina signs more films in a year than Kareena using a PEN.

This topic was about Katrina i guess but now that it has become Kareena Vs Katrina then i would like to say Kareena became famous for her SURNAME n Katrina bcoz of SALMAN but Kareena has proved she can act many times whereas Katrina is always being used as a GLAM girl in movies she can't say a line properly then forget about acting 😛
