Nice analysis! Actually I was only thinking of how Arnav is so like Darcy and Khushi is like Lizzy - but the analogy extension to Akash, Shyam and Payal is absolutely perfect! I really really hope that they don't get sidetracked too much though, with their Nandkissores and Hello Hi Bye Byes!

yes! you're absolutely correct! they mentioned it in the introduction of their show that it's similar to PnP! btw, this also brings to the point that since shyam is playing the mr wickham role, it's not possible that he's anjali's hubby! if he was then that would be the end of the story.. what i believe is that shyam did something wrong in the past and got on the wrong side of arnav... maybe that he had something to do with taking advantage of anjali maybe? for her money? thus, shyam is confirm not anjali's hubby..

OMG!! A fellow P&P lover- 🤗. I'm freaking as I saw the 2005 version of P&P yesterday (the Kiera Knightley one) and the week before I was watching the tele-series with Colin Firth (yes I am sad:))!! I also thought that there were similarities in the whole ethos there- the proud man who is actually wearing his arrogance and pride as a mask and the spirited unique girl, who will suffer from prejudice and misunderstanding before finding her love. This has the same tension and the same feel especially from Arnav's side where he reacts with anger and apparent dislike/ coldness to Khushi because he actually doesn't know how to acknowledge his feelings. I like the idea of Shyam playing the Wickham part especially if he is the cousin (this is in other posts today) as that will then fit quite well. Can I also say that just like P&P, I want Arnav to do the serious chasing and also the major confessing first 😊
