By then amy came in & saw Maan holding Geet by her arms. He pushed him away. & hugged Geet.
Why r u hurting my dodo he said making a cute frowning face
Geet smiled teasingly looking at Maan. He shook his head haan tu tho isski side lega
Geet kissed amy.. mera bacha.
He hugged her tightly.
Geet - kya baat hain.. mera baby ka mood kyun karab hain
he just buried his head in her duppta. Exactly wat Maan would have done. Every time Maan used to get stressed in college days he could cuddle up next to her. Burring his face in her duppata. She looked at Maan reminded of their sweet memorise of togetherness in the bangalore flat & college. They were so lost in their togetherness that never stopped by & thought wat it meant..every thing was taken for granted, her being there for him, him being there for her. They never questioned each others intentions nor did they feared losing each other. Probably they should have!!
Geet carried amy to the room. He turned his face & looked out of the window. Geet opened his bag to see if he had any homework sheets. He snapped his bag & pulled it away.
Amy - why r u touching my bag
Geet was taken a back.. he never said that to her.
Amy pulled his bag like he didn't want any one look into his bag. Geet softly caressed his back. Then with the other hand opened the bag slowly.. her heart sank & a small cry came out of her lips as her eyes fell on the frame he had made as an activity in the class for the fathers day. Tears filled up seeing the frame empty & so was his heart. Amy's heart ached to be loved...cared & pampered by his father.
She never told him Maan was his father.. but he was a smart kid.. as he grew he realized seeing her pics with only man ..so invariable the only guy he could think as his father was Maan who was never there like rahul was there all the while for rany. He didn't know anything abt Maan & Geet or their relation. He never questioned.. he was sensitive too. Her silence made him hide is questions & doubts.
She hugged him & cried. Maan stood near the door & saw it all. He hide the ache that tore his heart seeing the little child cry for his father & his dodo's helplessness. He made a serious face..

Geet tried to pull it away & avoid any trouble.

amy whimpered its a photo frame..
Maan laughed trying to put up a fight.. where is the photo.. ?
Trying his best to stop himself from breaking down seeing the plight of a little boy craving for his fathers care. He was getting very angry at self to have lead to all this. He had forced his dodo to do MS ..had she not come here all alnoe all this would have never happened.
he didn't know why he wanted her to do MS. It was so simple.. he was doing so she had to... how much he had to make her study to clear the GRE & TOFEL exam. She had to get a high score like him. Otherwise they won't be in the same college. He can't believe he made her do all that & just left it all for that b****. Wat the hell was wrong with him.
He lifted amy in his arms & clicked a pic of them together with his phone. He connected his phone to the printer & printed out a copy. He placed the pic in the photo frame.. see its looks better now.
Amy looked at him in shock & then looked at Geet. She smiled with tears in her eyes & nodded. He kept his photo in the bag & slowly took out a square box wrapped in a gift paper. Geet looked away hiding her tears. He reluctantly inched his tiny hand to maan..
Maan felt a lump formed in his heart.
Amy - yeh .
Maan promptly accepted it. Is this for me?
He purposely told that.. to save the child from the misery of feeling left alone on fathers day least did he know it was meant for him. Geet just left them alone. She couldn't have stood their a minute more hiding their true identity to each other.
Maan - aab tumne mujhe gift diya hain tho I will have to give u a gift.. so tell me wat do u want
amy made a face - I don't want anything from u
Maan tickled him.. r u sure..
he smiled naughtily..
Maan drew him & rany to NY toys r us in time square & got them both almost the whole shop.
Geet went to meet Nt in the hospital. She found it impossible to bottle up all the emotions in her. She ran to Nt's cabin.. she stood frozen at the door step when she heard rahul & Nt talking.. they were discussing something abt Maan & amy. Her steps froze when she heard rahul say.. Maan is thalassaemia minor .. she rested on the door with a thud sound breaking down drawing NT & rahul's attenetion to her.. meren Maan ko kya huwa?
Tears flooded her eyes & she held rahul's hand.. Maan ko kya huwa?
Maan teehk hojayega na..
rahul held her hand reassuring her. He made her sit in the chair.. she didn't seem to stop crying.
Nt made her drink water.. Geet teren Maan ko kuch nahi huwa
she didn't believe her.. she looked at rahul for assurance...
Nt rolled her eyes
rahul - Geet he is only thalassaemia minor but he is perfectly fine.. kuch darne ki baat nahi hain. Lekin.. he paused.
Geet raised from the chair lekin kya
rahul - his born marrow also didn't match.
She didn't know whether to be happy Maan was fine or be sad that her son lost all hope of recovery.
Rahul sighed.. we just have only one option now...
Geet curious looked at rahul.. who was looking at Nt to explain it to her.
Nt didn't have to say she understood the unsaid plea..
she covered her lips with her hanky ..wiping her tears with the back of her other hand she walked through the corridors of the hospital ..to the parking where the car was. she went back home broken.
The moment she saw Maan she cried, hugging him close and ending with a burst of tears and sobs. dodo he said with emotion, and tightening his clasp of her slight form. His emotions stuck in his throat.. as she cupped his face.. she caressed his cheek.. making sure he was not pale.. all she knew well abt thalassaemia was the patient gets really anemic. She kissed his eyes.. his cheek his nose.. he gulped his saliva.. as her lips lovingly..claimingly touched him.. her eyes continuously searched his face..like she was making sure..
