Alone he sat , on his royal throne in his high tower. Pouting like a child whose candy had been snatched away. Sulking like a warrior who has to idea how to deal with his opponent without raising his blood pressure. Thinking of the Beauty , her defiance and that sense of absolute powerlessness and weakening nerves that her bright doe eyes fill him with. Putting balms on his wounded pride and maybe hurt human feelings that sprung from the Beauty's refusal to be saved by him. Roaring the roar of a wounded lion that nobody could hear. Maybe not even he himself.

Into this silent healing of the beast's hidden wounds , she came like a whiff of gold pixie dust. The beautiful , big-eyed , rapunzel haired fairy whose smile is enough to light up the darkness of the beast's world. She blows a puff of her joie de vivre at him and the beast can't help but grin. How does she do it, he asks her. She smiles the smile of a soul wrapped in love and says that its her heart. She is brilliant , she is beautiful, she is happy, she lives in clouds because she is coloured in the love of her life. The beast smiles at her and says its not normal. Strange , that this abnormality makes her glow like the morning sun. I am dark, gloomy and denial runs in my veins in the name of normalcy – I refuse to be drawn into your happy bubble and I lock fairytales in books.

The fairy takes his hand and leads him to a stairway to heaven. Her eyes shining bright and her smiling lips blooming like roses , she tells him that somewhere in the stars , his Beauty waits for him and he waits for her. He may not see her now , he may not want to believe in her now. But one fine day , she is going to step off the stars and walk straight into his heart.

The beast stands shaking his head at the fairy's distant dream of the Beauty. Little does he know that when he signed that mere piece of paper – he took her hand and led her away from the stars. From the stars to his life. So, as the beast laughs off the dreams of his fairy , the Beauty , somewhere has begun to look for the key that will unlock his and her fairytale…….

omg! Poco, again u wrote it brilliantly. Truly, we all don't know where destiny will take us & this is just the start of Arnav-Khushi's journey to finding one another.

You know, reading your after-epi analysis posts has become such a habit. 😆 And the way you write, it's just amazing. The epi somehow becomes all the more meaningful due to these beauty and the beast comparisons!

Yes, today Arnav, sitting alone, had no one but Khushi on his mind. That shows how much that girl's actions and words affect the otherwise insensitive unfeeling beast. She's hurt his pride, cause she had the guts to refuse being rescued by him.

And Anjali's the only one who can make him smile, all she wants is to make Arnav see that life isn't always cruel, and there will be someone who brings light, beauty and colour even in his world.

One thing I liked about the scene was the CVs did clarify what a "Girl friend" means to Arnav and his belief of having a GF doesn't mean that you need to marry. That means the beast has no idea of what "Love" is all about. For a moment though he had lived the dream the fairy was showing before he came back to senses by his dis belief.

Anyway, did you all notice that how Nissar protrayed Khushi's every step into her new life. Well, when she first stepped into Arnav's house she did it with right leg. That was shown to us indirectly. Then she stepped the same way in the office. And yesterday when Arnav and Khushi had the tiff in the last scene she actually didn't move backward rather she moved towards Arnav putting her right leg forward. That meant may be she entered his life already. Well, enough of my interpretations. Just wanted to let it out since was in my head.
