The wicked Gang is here to wish you guys..helllooo!!!!!!

So people it is that time of the weekend now!!
Errr! you asking what time???? 😲Arre!! THAT time of the week!! When we the wicked gang have decided to paint the forum Saffron...errr I mean Reddd😛
So Ladies and Gentlemen and Durgesh...(kya..usko bhi toh welcome karna banta hai na...agar woh aisa nahi hota to Gullu-Duggu hota and Vasant would have married Chunni badnaam and Dushy would have not thrown him in water😛😛...so special reference toh banta hai na😛😆)

*ahem**ahem*
*Srushti hears a very horrible coughing sound and looks back to see PFC staring at her with her pixie cut hair coming into her chinky eyes😛*
Shalu: "Are we ever gonna start the news or what?"
Srushti : errrmmm😳.ya..ya...Toh mein kaha thi???
Arti : you were outside the mandir, trying to put on random shoes and trying to get a deeyarvatu done...
Siree: Srushti you are going for deeyarvatu???? how many times are you gonna slap your husband ???
Geeshani: I am already to make the slapping VM...
Nithya: And then Srush would say 'Bakwaas mat kar!'.
Kiran: Bakwaas nahi kar rahe...hamari bhavnao ko koi samjho🤣...😛
*Srushti bangs her head against the wall*

This is Gullu Newspaper guys!! Not the Kesuda thread!!!😛

Okie okie ...so no bakwaas...only Khabar Khaas😛...

So we start with a small shot summary of the week

Gulaal leaving the house and Kesar declaring to the world that she is running away because he confessesed his love to her...Jamuna again showing what intelligent woman she is and the only sane and bold person in the whole household...Kesar becomes hell bent upon bringing her back and even camps outside Gulaal's house overnight and almost gave us a heartattack by proposing to the terrorist...Sudha the mother terrorist curses Kesar that he will never be happy in his life as his useless cotton-wool-stuffed brain mother looks on...Raman instigating Kesar to pursue Panchayat in implementing their order and bring Gulaal back...Revji mad at Kesar for approaching Panchayat and vows that Gulaal will never come back...and Kesar deteremined to bring her back...

So after this heart burning week..the wicked gang decided to give you a light hearted weekend...trying to open your eyes towards different possibilities if Kes-Gul doesnot happen, not to worry...both are gonna be very happy in future with the jodis we have created...

*ducks from flying chappals*😛

And after the brilliant summary😛...
we come to the

SCENE of the Week

Chalo! chalo!! hato hato!! *Srushti pushes people to make way for her PFC*
Ladies and gentlmen (Duggu has gone for powdering his nose..it was way too shiny😛)...
Presenting the ...errr...ummm...oh well..Presenting *drum rolls* Shalu😛

The scene of week award definitely goes to kesar being under that tree combined with his confrontation at gulaal's house in the middle of the night.

Kesuda screams GULAAAL under that tree in his house and then somewhere at the same time, gulaal wakes up and looks around uneasily, and then goes back to sleep. the connection between these is impossible not to notice. the CVs have very cleverly and artistically showed us the deep innate, soulful bond between these 2, and it is a privilege to be watching this show of such impeccable caliber. the significance of both the scenes is all due to the script but mostly the cinematography. for the first in the history of TV, has such a powerful scene been shown, and i am so upset that the wise majority still does not appreciate its artistic value.now, back to the scene. I have basically copied + pasted what i wrote for KRML with a few additions. so here it goes...

The first few lines which he whispers to himself, we see the camera moving on the same level as kesuda's sunken form under that tree as if we're sitting right in front of him and listening to his woes. it's almost as if all of us viewers were made to sit in front him, get down to his level of spirits and empathise since he really has no one to share his views with. as the camera moves showing kesar gripping his mind, kind of feeling restrained, there is sort of a net like barrier between the camera, and him, and it gives me the image of "prisoner of his own mind". perfect portrayal of his current state. he really does want to get out of his current pathetic state of mind and be out of it, and that's then when he screams out GULAAL (as if she's the one who has the keys to the prison cell he is captured in), the camera on top of him, zooms out to signify the magnitude of his scream, his pain, his utter agony. and what i found so significant was, that kesar was sitting under tree that was almost lifeless, quite barren, just like his state. in the world of symbolism, trees have always been held as a symbol for life. the amount of leaves, fruits, depicting how one's life is. and at this point i was reminded of one of the poems i came across a few years which was like this.

In the dead of winter,
one of my favorite symbols is a barren tree
with buds.
Those quiet bare branches
hold the magnificent potential of LIFE.
It seems almost impossible
that there could be so much green in them.
Yet, all winter the buds wait
for the warmth of spring to open them.
When I walk among the winter trees

quite true, aint it? for kesar's case? he has so much potential for life! but at this point of time, he's barren, and with hope in his heart, he shall await his spring. i have recently read somewhere that a barren tree also represents a sinful person. maybe this was showed from gulaal's perspective that kesar loving her is a sin? i dont know, but i have to say that there was a chilling, eerie quality about that scene, the way the shadows of the barren tree's branches covered kesar's being.

then comes gulaal's scene.where the previous soundtrack (opera like) is also being played, as if to show the deep connection between these two characters. WOW! the way she wakes up, as if having that innate (almost primal instinct like other animals have for their own loved ones) connection, was nerve-racking. it was such an adrenaline pumping scene, when she woke up suddenly after the tension was built! AMAZING! and then the look of pure shock on her face when she saw him there outside her window.

man, kesar looked PATHETIC! HOPELESS! LIFELESS! i agree with reva, mujhse uski yeh haalat dekhi nahin jaati. then he said all that he said all those years ago when gulaal threatened to leave the house, man that image of young kesar flashed in my mind begging her not to go. i can't understand how can gulaal care about him if she's treating him this. HEARTLESS! okay, i dont want to even express my views on that woman's behaviour. this is kesar thread so i shall get back to my point.😳

Gulaal, upon seeing him, instinctively put her chunar over her head (see! somewhere she does think of him as her husband!) and then tries to explain to him he's mad and all. he explains how actually mad he's going, but she's not ready to hear what others have to say. kesuda gaya bhaad mein. she slams shut the door, and kesar ceases his screaming. she assumes he has left and that maharani goes back to sleep. in the morning when she sees him again outside, sleeping all night in that cold when she was all cozy inside her blanket, that woman did not even make him go back to his house! you know the soundtrack (with the mandir ki ghanti also) that played after she opened her window, was awesome! it portrayed love, tension, devotion , care, sadness, anger, indifference. (bold - kesar's feelings, italicized - both and normal font style - gulaal).

SHEER BRILLIANCE PEOPLE! and this scene beats the rest of TV-dom also!😳

Character of d week: Gulaal.

Gulaal has decided to step out of d badi..haveli'because she believes that kesar only has attraction for her and nothing else'so, she merely steps out of d house even after d insistence of Motaba, panba n kesar. And she doesn't want even think what kesar is trying to say'she was already warned by Motaba about this situation'so, in the name of Athma-sammanata(self-respect) 'she bluntly steps out of d house. She has decided 10 years ago'how she will be after vasant's death'and kesar was desperately trying to change her view' so, she keeps on ignoring him'n if we observe her conversation with kesar at her house'she thinks that he has insulted her by confessing his love before everyone n she thinks she was letting down by Motabha'n because she has never thought about that relationship in any other way' it is a sin to her'n kesar gives her straight back'that she married him only because of that brother in law relationship. She doesn't know d answer either'even after her scolding kesar was confident'to bring her back to home. Now, this is a big surprise for her'n keeps on thinking n weeping d whole evening'n from revji bhai'gulaal conversation we get that she has drawn a circle around her n doesn't want to even know or think beyond n doesn't want to change her view.. And 'from her conversation with talli'we know that she wants to remove that attraction from kesar's heart by behaving coldly with him'n by maintaining distance with him... she is at d height of stubbornness to think like that as we all know that she has distanced him for 10 long years'but still he has fallen for her'.n now time has started to think about her doings'she was in constant denial mode'and says'she doesn't have any feeling for him'apna zid pe adi rehene ki aadat'now this attitude has brought up d hukka pani bandh for her family'hope she melts n returns to badi haveli..

All she needs a mirror'to self-check'n see d real world outside her world'but we can hope for d best from this character because she never wanted to leave that house'but according to d situation she has stepped out of d house'so, in d same way she will peep into kesar's world'n sees kesar's love'n will happily step into his life'eagerly waiting to see d change in her thinking'.😊

There were too many to choose from this week's episode.But finally this is what I think the striking dialogues were😳 Few lines from Kesar-paanba conversation from the episode aired on 21^st June 2011😛

Kesar : Aisi kya vajah mai Gulaal se pyaar nahi kar saktha? Samaaj hamara rishta sweekar kar chukka hai fir mera pyaar karna galat kyu maana ja raha hai ?Kya mujhse pehle kisi purush ne apne se badi aurat se pyaar nahi kiya? Kya kabhi kisi ne kisi widhwa se pyaar nahi kiya ?

This was the best dialogue as that is what the soul of the show is all about. Aint it ? Even though everybody accepted deeyarvattu after panchayat's decision, but when Kesar openly declared his love to Gulaal, each and every family got shock of their life why ?????😲 Thus, we saw emotionally drained and confused Kesar opening his dilemma in front of mother. He raises some valid question? While watching it I felt Kesar is not asking this to his mother but whole viewers who do not still have understood the meaning of love, who have still suspicion left in their mind about Kesar's love. The lines were simple subtle yet it raises so many questions in your mind. Neil did a superb job in delivering these lines !👏

*sigh* hola people!! we have been thirsting for one 'sukoon' ka moment the whole week na...just like Kesuda...but havent got any... all I can think of is one...when Kesar comes to Gulaal's house and she turns her back towards him...and he stands near her...awww...that was one soulful moment and you can actually cut through the sizzling chemistry between them...I just loved the almost-touching but not-really-touching moment between them...his hankering that she should come home, that nothing was the same without her and that she was the atma of the house *sigh* the saffron boy has painted himself red... and I loved how he doesnot flinch when she says that he should b ashamed of saying such things before Vasant and he just answers back and puts a logical question...what if he was not Vasant's brother...?? Would it be still wrong to love her and confess the same...how could she deny the very relation which binds them...just love how he accepts Vasant as an inalienable part of this relation, and respects her fanatic devotion for a dead man...*sigh*

And now for the most likable member of the gang...because all she does is like our posts😡

Ladies and gentleman take a coffee or tea break, peep in other post coz now comes the most pakau column ...".blah scene of the week."...and it goes to none another than queen of happiness , dutches of joyland giving the most wierdest curse in the world the "thepla curse "...in the most strange manner she performed the witchcraft saying kesar will never remain happy...ha ha ha ha...look who is talking madam what was the century wen u had your last laugh...how many comedians have commited suicide in talsagra river in vain attempt of making u laugh...and u saying kesar wont remain happy. Just coz boy was honest ...naah'''. btw y didn't u perform abaara-ca daabra wen ramanbha and devika were doing chiggy wiggy infront of u ''lemme guess a typical bhartiya witch '.she .can throw magical spell on the innocent family members but not on a culprit husband''anyways after ths curse scene wicked khabar received so many mails from witches they said its absolute crap '..how can sudha perform a witchcraft wen she is not the resigestered member of witchcraft society''. professor double door scratched his beard and said no I have not heard of any sudha witch in 1000000 years moreever thepla is not a valid ingredient of performing magical spells we take chillies, lemon , lion teeth owl shit etc etc'but thepla is never heard of''to check the authencity I personlly performed the thepla curse on my princy he didn't changed into a lizard so I can affirmatively say this scene and thepla curse was nothing but a blah!!!

And now for the scene which actually made you become a mashochist and search for the nearest wall...
so that you can BANG your head against it.

And it was ...hands down...when Kesar proposed the terrorist...*again goes to bang her head against the wall*...Gosh I not only banged my head but also gave the whole forum a heart attack by a post...and all I could do at that time was to pray that the terrace breaks into half and The terrorist gets thrown in that well that her lady love Gullu found years ago...Kesuda !! Kesuda!! I swear however angry you are or sad you are or desperate you are..I don't care...But NEVER EVER try that proposal again!! I will actually mix you in the milk and drink you if that ever happens again😡

And I dont know there were many...but mainly it was ...Kesar shouting...Gulaaalll!!!...It actually knocked the air out of my lungs as if someone had punched me in the solarplexus...so much anguish ..so much pain...such brattishness but yet such utter complete devotion...couldnot decide what do make out of this fanaticism ...but it sure took my breath away...

And now we come to the comic relief...😲...What are you talking about...was there one single moment of relief?? This week has been the most anti-relief week of the serial...almost have hole in my heart and a bald patch on my head because of the saffron boy and his Lady in red😆
So instead we have ...
