The screen legend has been on the promotional circuit for his two upcoming films, Bduddah Hoga Tera Baap and Aarakshan. So he took to his blog recently and informed his legions of fans about everything Amitabh, including his bladder capacity, the division of his estate, and some other health issues. Have a read:
"Sitting in the car for an endless period of time causes other problems as well...You need to get to the ... errr... euphemism? Came a moment when it was simply uncontrollable.I just had to get to a washroom! ... Got off the car and before passers by could realise who it was... I discovered a small temple by the road and charged in asking for the toilets. A somewhat dazed security pointed to the back of the structure and I just made it in time before I burst open! The hazards of weak bladdered humans!"Um, yeah that's a lil TMI. Everyone needs to tinkle! BFD.
On how he plans to provide for his kids upon his passing:
Shweta is the first Bachchan in this generation since she was the first daughter born in the family. Because Jaya and I do not consider Shweta as paraya dhan, we both have already decided that whatever little that I have will be divided between both Abhishek and Shweta equally, when I die."Nice of him to be candid about it. But after 42 years in the film industry, almost 200 films and almost just as many endorsements deals later, if he seriously thinks we believe the "whatever little I have" part, he's deluded! Perhaps that's his attempt at being humble..?
On a recent health scare that has him worried:
"There has been a setback in the health I think... a congestion arises in the chest and the throat has become hoarse and painful at the glands' so back to home doctor and on to antibiotics to control it ' it could also be from the fact that I normally speak as much as I did in the past few days, in a year. "My entire quota for the year ending 2011 would still be less than what I have done in the last 2 days. That is a lot of talking ! And when I do get back home its like being drugged ' just dozing off even while standing and lack of complete energy. This is not good, once a chest condition begins with me, it takes forever to heal and become normal. So its best given the treatment before it gets out of hand."If health problems arise because of talking too much, it's a divine sign Mr. Bachchan! Open your eyes and realize, it's time for you to bow out gracefully and R-E-T-I-R-E ! Your legacy will never be forgotten, but 'nuff s'nuff! ;-)
