Wait...did I write that article? Cuz that totally sounds like me!!!!! 😆

"Although it wasn't a saas-bahu saga, it had all the ingredients of a family drama. A conniving 'other woman' in Mallika; a 'straying suitor' in Armaan; the perfect family in 'pappaji and co' and a 'friend for all seasons', Nandu!"

OH my....how completely I agree...people made a hue and cry about how different the soap was....which it WAS, bbut only for a year....even in that year, there were tons of stereotypical characters present....the extremely evil Aryan (how is he different from, say, Esha of KKUSUM)....the extremely good Jassi (no different from KKUSUM, minus the jewellery in the beginning)....the egoistic boss turned lovesick boyfriend/hubby (like Abhay of KKUSUM....who had a mmillion gfs before falling in love with KKUSUM)....the grey character who turned evil (Mahi in KKUSUM!) 😆 If the in-laws of Ekta's serial were heavy jewellery, what about Armaan's family...esp his mom who looked more like a cold barbie than a devoted mother!

And the operation of GulMohar was amusing....any company with a lazy boss like Armaan, a cassanove like Raj, a ggroup of gossip-mongers who spend more time babbling away in the cafeteria than spending time in their desks would not last for long!

The producers of the show sold a similar storyline in a creative external package for a while....but once JASSI got her makeover, the serial seemed a sham...people blame the thousand hubbies an Ekta heroine has, what about the thousand identities Jassi carried unlawfully....
😕

Come to think of it....even those huge glasses and bad style was extremely OTT....yes, there was something about this serial that tugged at your heartstrings....for instance, the realistic family of Jassi that totally reminded us of our own..... 😆....but whats the point of hyping Jassi when she began lacking the basic values of respecting a friend (hated the way she used Purab), protecting your parents (she was off turning pretty in malaysia when her family had to face the wrath of Mallika and co), staying away from a married man (sleeping with Armaan when he was still legally binded to his wife)... 😕....seriously, how different is she from someone like Mallika?

I hated Jassi for wanting to keep away Vedika from Armaan just cuz he could have slept with the kid's mom 3 years before meeting her...why punish the child? And, if she is right, why blame Mallika for trying to keep away Jassi from the man she loved unconditionally for 20 years!

Jassi was simply a greedy, hypocritic, opportunistic woman!!!!!!! She had everything one dreamt of - fame, family, friends....yet, she cribbed like she was the biggest loser on earth.....oh well, I wonder how many tears I should shed then!

Qute simply, the serial worked cuz of Mona's acting and the popularity of Jassi and Armaan as a couple.....again, no different from Ekta's serials that lack any storyline, but boast of admirable chemistry between lead stars!

Another question that keeps coming back is the "will Armaan or won't he" aspect of the show. What did Armaan see in Jassi that he fell for her? Did he fall in love with the real Jassi or

the girl who was an answer to all his financial troubles???? It's really hard to fathom the depth of his loyalty or for that matter his love!

The basis of love is still questionable. 👏 👏 👏

I don't know abt. others but whatever Jassi saw & knew about Armaan (especially that he was engaged to someone elae) no normal women would fall for him & it was a surprise when we were shown so much high values & thoughts abt. Jassi still she fell for a man because of whom she had met all humiliation in life & much much more needless to say

that shows that love can happen to anybody irrespective of how many values she /he has .Thats the beauty of love ,it happens and u dont think or plan it.

thats what happened to jassi and thats what happened to armn too irrespective of being engaged .If he had continued with the engagement, three lives would have been ruined and arman was always a go getter and he was determined to win jassi's love even though jassi never showed it to him and never confessed to him .

arman and jassi's was a beautiful love story .

as the saying goes "LOVE IS BLIND" LOVE IS A FEELING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE 😳
