Chapter 23

Geet was nervous for her first offical day at khurana constructions... now knowing that Maan was her new boss... Maan was shocked to see Geet at the office... He tried his best to stay away from Geet... he didn't want to get close to her,,, he tried to hate her but was unsuccessful... he gave her heavy work loads which would try and keep him away from her but it didn't work...

Geet - Sir she said softly...

Maan - Haan Geet, Kya hua??

Geet - Vo Mene Yeh Sab Kar diya...

Maan - Acha... he pointed to the table... vo files...

Geet - Haan Files... Toh?? she said getting irritated...

Maan - Vo Files Par Kaam Karo... Geet...

Geet got annoyed but at the same time she was wondering why maan was being so weird... he gave her sooo much work... wondering why he was doing this... she decided to ask him...

Geet - Maan... she stopped... Maan looked up at her and raised his eyebrows a little... ' Mera matlab hain Sir, Nahi Maan sir... Vo mujhe ... Ermm... byee... she walked off without the files.. she entered her cabin which was right next to Maan's... She Closed the door and checked if the blinds were closed...

Geet - Thank God... she breathed... she rested her back against the door, closing her eyes, she just remembered the files...

Geet left the files in his cabin...

Geet - Sh*t... Files... she Groaned...

She Got out of her cabin and was about to enter maan's when she bumped into someone...

Geet not looking at her said

Geet - im soo sorry Maam...

Lady - You Will Be... Dekh kar nahi chal sakthii...

Geet then looked up at the girl infront of her... she eyed the girl up and down... she wrinkled her nose at the dress the girl in front of her wore... short black skirt and a sleeveless blue top... she had her hair down and 6 inch Heels... her legs were skinny...

Geet - chiii.. she muttered making sure she wernt heard...

Lady - tum kaha ja rahi ho... aur kaun ho tum...

Geet - main sir ki cabin main ja rahi hoon... aur main unki nayi secretary Geet...

Lady - Geet...

Geet - Haan Aur Aap... she said waiting...

Lady - Sasha... she said and walked off'

after half an hour Geet was sat in the canteen with pinky and Adi' her new friends'

Geet took an instant liking toward Geet and so did Geet' she was sat eating when Maan came over to her table'..

Maan - Geet'.

Geet npt looking up just simply replied'

Geet ' hmmm Maan .. kya hai'

Pinky and Adi were shocked.. she simply spoke to him with confidence'

Maan ' Geet he said a little bit annoyed now..

Geet looked up at maan...

geet- maan ... mera matlab hai Maan sir... koi kaan tha she said innocently...

Maan was about to shout at her when he realised where he was and who she was with... he liked the way she spoke to him... without any fear and with confidence...

Maan - jaldi si mere cabin mein aeo...

Geet - lekin sir... she saud hesitating... she looked at adi and pinky... sir main lunch kar rahi hoon ... she looked away..

maan looked at geet... senseing she was hungry he said
kaana ka lo phir uski baad ana hmm...

Geet - sir mein aajoengi lekin agar mei abhi aap ki saath aai tho apko mujhe dinner ki liye leh kar jana hai.. hmm??

maan looked at pinky and adi, who had their eyes wide open and their mouth open...

maan gave them the look and said to Geet jaldi aaoe geet...

Geet scared of his reaction threw her lunch in the bin and ran off following him behind and put on a sad face'.

Maan went straight to his cabin and saw Geet behind him'.

He tried to be angry with her but he couldn't'. he looked at her and smiled' seeing him smile she smiled and took a deep breath in'. she sat opposite his chair and got her notepad out from the back she had been carrying at dinner' .

Looking for a pen she instantly got up and went in his top drawer and saw his silver parker pen' liking the look of it she picked it up and looked at Maan.. she asked him with her eyes if she can use it and he just simply blinked'

Geet got her answer and went and sat back down..

She waited for Maan to give his dictation'

Maan was giving her the notes he needed her to type up.. seeing her so lost in the notes he stopped and just looked at her'..

Maan Stares at Geet.. Geet writing on the pad and then put the pen in her mouth and just starts thinking...

Geet Looks at Maan as he is trying to give notes... she looks at him and see's how he concentrates with his work and nothing comes in between him.

Maan thinks about how he has gotten close to Geet and thinks about the first time they met... he remembers how they bumped into one another and while Geet was walking away from him she nearly tripped...

Geet thinks about how she was about to fall and then Maan held her in his arms...

Maan - Raahein Chale Na Chale Chalte Hai Yeh Raaste
Aao Chalo Rut Goon Raaste Mein Kis Waaste

Maan remembers the time where he was in one boring place before Geet and how he is soo glad that she had come into his life...

Geet - Mein To Khadi Hoon Yahin Yaar Mila Jab Se Hai Tu

Geet was happy when Maan came into her life... all her problems had been solved...

Geet thinks about how was in her childhood and wonders what it would have been like if Maan was with her too... although he had been around then but with her brothers and not her...

Maan thinks about how Dev hurt her/...

Geet smiles at Maan and a tear escapes from her eyes... she stops altogether and see's the little tear drop on the paper and looks at Maan who gets worried... she gets up and runs out of the cabin into her own...
