Part 2

While Gunjan was crying, her cell phone rang. She wiped out her tears and took her phone in her hand. She saw "1 new message" flashing on her phone screen. She opened it and read out -

Chashmish, if you have ever loved me then please meet me at the beach in the evening! I'll be waiting for ya!

Love, Samrat!

She took a sigh and said to herself, "Why do you want to meet me, Samrat? Why don't you understand that I came out of your life just for your betterment!" She didn't want to go but she had to go. After all she loved him. She took her shawl from the bed, put it around herself and stood up. The way she dressed could be seen now. She covered herself fully with the shawl and her hairs were untied.

When it was evening, Gunjan went out of the house to meet Samrat. She reached the place where Samrat had asked her to come. She was amazed and surprised to see the beach. She was out of words.

Samrat did the decorations, she thought. She smiled seeing the decoration in white. White was her favorite colour and Samrat did this just to make her happy. She thought so and a strange smile went on her face. Suddenly her expressions changed into sorrow. Tears rolled down her beautiful eyes wetting her soft and milky cheeks. She closed her eyes. Suddenly, she felt someone touching her cheek with his index finger and wiping out the tears. She opened her eyes in shock and saw Samrat in front of her. She turned back instantly. Samrat stepped back, took his guitar, started playing the music of a song and singing the song for his beloved Gunjan..

Bebasi dard kaa aalam, tum mujhe de do apne gham
Khaamoshiyaan bhi do, tanhaaiyaan bhi do (kept the guitar aside and walked to Gunjan)
Bechaaniyaa bhi de do, de do naa (Walked around her)

Bheegi palkon se churaa lungaa nami (saw the tears rolling down from Gunjan's eyes)
Rehane dungaa naa, khahin koi kami (came close to her)
Tumko daaman naa bhigone dungaa (took a drop of her tears on his finger)
Aab kabhi tumko naa rone dungaa (putting the drop of tear on his palm, closed the palm and brought it near his heart)
Uljhane ghum ki parchhaiye (staring at her as if he's pleading her not to cry)
De do mujhe apni tanhaaiyaan (holding her hand)
Gumnamiyaan bhi do, naakaamiyaan bhi do (brought it near his lips)
Viraaniyaan bhi de do, de do naa (kissing her hand)

Tere hotho pe sajaa dungaa hansi (touching her lips with his thumb and gesturing her to smile)
Teri raahon mein bhichhaa dungaa khushi (took the rose petals basket and spread all the rose petals on Gunjan's way of walking)
Tum mujhe apnaa maanti ho agar (Samrat tried to look into her eyes but she lowered her eyes)
Yuh khafaa hoke naa jhukaao nazar (cupping her face in his hands)
Mushkile apni majburi (staring at her with a slight smile)
Ho de do mujhe sari benuri (wiping out her tears again)
Pareshaaniyaaa bhi do, hairaaniyaa bhi do (went behind her)
Nhigebaaniyaa bhi de do, de do naa (grabbing her waist slowly)

Bebasi dard kaa aalam, tum mujhe de do apne gham (saw Gunjan getting hurt and moved back)
Khaamoshiyaan bhi do, tanhaaiyaan bhi do (came in front of her)
Bechaniyaa bhi de do, de do naa (knelt down his knees in front of Gunjan and lowered his eyes)

Samrat heard Gunjan crying and stood up quickly.

Gunjan: Samrat, why are you doing all these? Please don't do this.
Samrat: Chashmish! All these are only for you! I love you Chashmish! I love you a lot.
Gunjan: I know you love me Samrat! And I love you too. But..
Samrat: But what, Chashmish?
Gunjan: I don't wanna be the reason of your sorrow.
Samrat: Chashmish! How did you ever think that I'll be sad cause of you? I remain happy cause of you and in spite of knowing it, you left me alone?! Just because you thought that you are the reason of my sorrow, where as, you are the reason of only my joy and happiness!
Gunjan: Yes! I think so and I am right. Things have changed, Samrat. And I have changed too.
Samrat: You love me, so how can you ever think that you aren't the same?! Chashmish! Why are you punishing yourself for the accident which occurred that night?

Gunjan broke down into crying and fell on the floor. Samrat saw her shockingly. He sat beside Gunjan and wiped out her tears.

Gunjan: Cause I want you to be happy. You deserve the best life partner than me who will be beautiful and who will keep you happy. And I am not that person anymore. I am not!
Samrat: Chashmish! Why can't you understand that I can be happy only with you. And who told that you are not beautiful? You are undoubtedly the most beautiful girl in the world who came in the life of a donkey like me and made me a human!

Gunjan stood up. She closed her eyes and removed the shawl and her dupatta off her body.

Gunjan: Face the reality Samrat! I am not your same beautiful Chashmish anymore.

Gunjan's neck, shoulders and her elbows were full of dark black scars of burnt wounds.

Gunjan: Have a look at the reality. And now decide if you can live with this cruel reality for your whole life. These scars are attached with my fate forever. No one can remove these. But can you live with these? Can you, Samrat?

Samrat stood up. Tears started rolling down his eyes. He instantly turned back and wiped out his tears. He didn't want Gunjan to know about it. He bended and took the shawl from the floor. He stared at Gunjan lovingly and wrapped the shawl around her.

Samrat: Chashmish! These things don't matter to me at all. The thing that matters to me the most is the love and respect we have for each other. How can you think that I love you cause of your appearance? Didn't you know that your simplicity attracted me to you the most? Didn't you know that I loved your inner beauty not your appearance? Chashmish! Just keep it in mind that no matter what happens, I'll always love you.

Gunjan: But Samrat..?

Samrat came close to Gunjan and looked into her painful eyes.

Samrat: Chashmish! You are my wifey, my angel and my fairy. So how can you ever think that you are not beautiful? Just see through my eyes, you'll find yourself the most beautiful girl in this universe! Just believe me!

Gunjan was touched by his words. They stared at each other for a while with immense love and affection. There was a complete silence even though it seemed like their silence was the best conversation. After a while, Gunjan hugged Samrat tightly.

Gunjan: I am sorry Samrat! I didn't understand your love. I am very sorry! Please forgive me.

Samrat smiled had tears of joy. Same was with Gunjan. Both were lost in each others' arms. Samrat hugged his Chashmish softly so that she didn't get hurt. After they broke their hug, both wiped out each others' tears.

Samrat: I love you Chashmish! I love you more than my life! And please don't you ever think of leaving me. I won't be able to live without you.

Gunjan: I love you too Samrat! And I promise that I won't leave you ever. I'll be always with you. No matter how hard the situations would be, we will be together forever. I promise!

Samrat smiled hearing what Gunjan said. Gunjan smiled too. Both stared at each other lovingly. Samrat carried Gunjan slowly towards the bed and made her sit on it.

He sat beside her, held her cheeks and kissed her on her lips. He took off the shawl from her body, made her lie down gently and lied beside her. He removed her hairs from her back. Gunjan shivered in nervousness as she knew that Samrat saw her burnt wound on her back. A drop of tear rolled down from the side of her right eye. She closed her eyes in pain. Just then, Samrat kissed on her wound which made her forget everything and brought a smile of satisfaction on her angelic face. She smiled thinking that her wounds and pains didn't matter at all in front of Samrat's immense love. She smiled and thanked God for giving her a hubby like Samrat, who gave her so much love that she could hardly ever get. Samrat came close to her and made her lie straight. Both shared a romantic eye-lock. Samrat kissed on her cheeks and slowly went to her neck and shoulders. His passionate and loving touch made Gunjan forget all her sorrow and pains. At last he kissed on her lips with all affection, love and passion! The sun set and in the midst of the beautiful and romantic environment, the souls of two true lovers united forever with a promise of never leaving each others' hands no matter what!
