Hey dear sorry for the late comment but was busy sweety pardon me and i am sure you will,the part was as always just fab loved it to core.
To her how much he mattered could be just understood by this small solution of her,just to spend some beautiful moments with him which will automatically become beautiful when they will be together as she thought,she opt for a thing which mattered to her least she didn't loved it nor had any interest in it but just for his sake she could do anything.All he could do was make fun out of it as to him it didn't bothered at all.He simply failed to understand the deep intensity lied under her thought of a very sweet gesture,it was because he didn't had that heart to understand that naive creature it was something beyond his limits.If he even try his whole life all that he will meet would be Failure!!!!!!!
Their life kept moving on through that invisible line they always remained in touch.Saying they talking will absoulutely be wrong as it only him,actually if anyone think about it was always about him ,his charm, his achievements, his experiences, his thoughts, his views, his questions and his answers itself.She got to share just a tiny bit of her after that it would be only talk about his belongings.He would never let her express herself and to him he had to time for her rubbish,Alas!anything related to her was just a crap for him what else could be so painful than this,for the person was so mad that his tiny bits also mattered her at the utter most level and to him it mattered least it bothered least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It bruised her deep inside might leaving the scars forever.It became quiet normal or her now but still being still human and possessing a heart and somewhere brain too she was forced to think in some negative way.But she proved once again all she possessed was just the heart and infact in her forehead she might have got heart and God forget to place a brain there as it was so pure and divine as it got only positive and praising thoughts.The only thing now she got in her life was her heart which replaced all her loved ones because they themselves lived there,instead of talking to her mom or best friend in her bed all she could chat with was her heart as lonely as she is.She too found her heart wrong in some way but wished if it was in her hand to ignore it as others did to her,she couldn't do the same!!!!!!!!!
Their life changed a lot since their childhood,infact they changed a lot life got changed as the most natural thing.Now it was only him who was left to be discussed praised or talk about.She long left to verbalize her feelings or anything related to her as it seem totally useless as f it mattered to someone.People share only when they fell that the other person interested in it or will understand it.If this wasn't be the things people would love to talk to moon stars sky trees oceans deserts whom will surely listen but won't respond or react back,same was with her by now she understood there was no one to listen to her silent cry no one was there to clear her loneliness except his presence which she felt in every corner.She too in depression started talking to a non living thing which to her seem like breathes feels ans understand too.She pour out her heart on it but wish if it could wipe her tears.She was left all alone to do what she herself didn't knew,all she could feel was something wrong happening around her,but the hope which never left her alone was of being at her side that too forever.She had a blind faith on it as too that blind pass she could give her life in his hands blindly,just wish that her hope never breaks!!!!!!!!!!!!
You wrote it so beautifully couldn't resist myself to write so much.

She smiled…a painful one…a fake one! Somewhere in her heart, she wanted MK to be there in front of her at that moment itself! She wanted him by her side so badly…but she knew the truth! She carefully placed the music box back in the cupboard and with a fake faith and assurance of a better tomorrow…she slowly drifted off to sleep!

Geet:….Mk…please… (sob)…

Maan (angrily): stop it Sweetu! Don't you know any other thing than crying?

Geet (crying bitterly): but Mk….(sob)…at least listen..(sob)…

Maan (rudely): just shut up Sweetu..why are you disturbing me so much? Am in my practice session…trying hard to concentrate…but you… aarrgh…. Just stop it okay!

Geet was taken aback! He could give time to his basketball but when it came to her and her problems…..he turned deaf ears!

Geet (shaking voice): M…m..MK…what…ha…happened …to you? (sob)…you….

Maan (angrily): Sweetu…don't disturb okay! Just keep the phone and try to solve your problems yourself! Don't bug me!

And he cut the call!

Geet woke up…….the way he told her and cut the call…she could not forget it till now! She looked at the time….it was 2 am in the morning! She recalled her dream…its been 1 year since that incident and it was all because of that now she doesn't speak much about her or her problems! She was 15 then!

She had cried so much that day……..not because she was falsely accused of cheating in her exam..but more because Mk didn't even bother about her!

She was warned and forgiven by the principal the next day even though it was not her fault…not even a tiny mini bit!

He had shouted at her earlier too but she didn't mind them much….but whatever happened last time….was too much beyond her capacity to bear!

She again looked at her watch…4am in Japan! So as per her calculation, it'd be around 8 pm in London…he'd be back from his practice! She took out her cell and texted him…..

"hey Wildcat…nervous???😉"

And immediately came his reply….

"Y…wht do ya think huh😕?"

" So…ur match is 2morow?"

"Yeah..me totally nervous!"

"ahh dun worry….u'll do grt!😛"

"umm…bt 2morow will decide my permanent captainship in the nationals! So me kinda scared too"

"as I told earlier….U'll do it!"

"yeah ryt…if am not so nervouos 2morow!"

"hey…wait a min…whr did the word NERVOUSNESS cum into ur dictionary MK?😲😆"

"are u makin fun of me Sweetu?😡"

"ahh no…bt its kinda 1^st tym am seeing ya so freaked out!😳"

" Y wouldn't I be hun??? Its lyk NOW OR NEVER!😕"

"ok…ok..calm down wildcat!😳"

"u'll be der wid me na Sweetu??"

A smile touched her lips when she read that… she instantly forgot all her grief that were because of him! The play "snow white and the 7 dwarfs" flashed back in her mind…..how he supported her o shut Suzy up after the play!

She owed him a lot…and she will definitely never leave him alone…..well that's what she thought!

"Sweetu…u der?"

"ahh yeah MK….i'll always support u!"

"thnx girl….i knw u'll be der 4 me!"

"ok ok stop flattering me! Am going to sleep…gud nyt!🥱"

And she slept off. It was already 5 am! She had a lot to do….finish up her homeworks, go for basketball and then her figure skating! Busy day ahead!

As she slept….her cell kept vibrating…

"hey…dun go 2 sleep!😕"

"Sweetu…u slept?"

"helo..u der?"

"u slept off….ah ok…gud nyt & bye!"

Maan paced restlessly in his room! Tomorrow is the final match! His team…WILDCATS..have a last chance to get into the nationals and this match will decide his future in basketball!

kawaii *giggles*..wildcats...couldn't think of a better name...😃

THE NEXT DAY, Japan –

Geet finished with her school! She went to her basketball practice as usual. She never told MK that she still continues to play even after 4 years! She has lost much weight now….

Kawaii *suggests*..well you can imagine her physique just by knowing how good she is at figure skating!

After finishing up with her practice..she checked her cell. 95 missed calls….that too from MK! She checked the time…6 in the evening. So its around 9 in the morning for MK. Before she could call him back, her cell beeped! It was MK!

Geet: hello!

Maan: where were you? I've been calling you since last night and you didn't even pick up! Check out the number of messages and missed calls!

He sounded frustrated!

Geet felt bad…she missed MK's calls when he was so tensed! Ugh….bad bad Sweetu – she thought!

Geet: sorry MK…I was…umm….busy with school and so!

Maan: ahh leave! But am so tensed ow! I'm the captain of wildcats for the 1^st time and under so much pressure! My team..oh God….am so tensed!

Geet: Mk…I told you…don't worry! Everything will work out fine! Am sure you'll be the best captain! Now chill ok! Take it easy wildcat!

Sweetu sounded so calm….strange Mk thought…but well he decided to ignore! Before Maan could reply, he heard someone talking to Sweetu in Japanese!

Geet: MK….just hold on a minute!

And this is what Maan heard –

Girl: geet chan…made yo! (geet..please wait a second!)

Geet: aah sakura san….nani desu ka? Daijoubu? (ohh sakura…what happen? Are you alright?)

Sakura (delightfully): hai…watashi daijobu! Demo..aah….eto…CAPTAIN-san…arigatou gozaimasu nee! Honto ni arigatou! (yes. Am alright! But…ahh…erm….thank you captain..thank you so much!)

Geet (sweetly): ahh omedeto nee sakura san! Watashi was honto ni shiawase ne…you made it to the team!!!!!

(ahh welcome dear! But am very happy that you made it into the team!)

Sakura (happily): anata wa honto ni sugoi desu ne CAPTAIN! (you are really great captain!)

Geet: ohh domo sakura san! Demo waurete yo! Aahh..sureshrimasu! ( thanx sakura…but just forget it dear! Now if you please excuse me)

Sakura : ah hai…CAPTAIN! (sure captain)

Geet: sakura san….Gambatte ne! (anyways sakura…ALL THE BEST)

Poor Maan didn't even understand a single thing except the word CAPTAIN!

i know its your story and you must have planned it but i really am losing patience over maan now...its really not fair that he gets away with anything and everything because geet is such a sweet heart...😡

it is high time geet brings her self respect into focus and if not anything stop talking to maan atleast for seven days...😈
