Short WU's for 7th and 8th June 2011

Epi starts with Sarika dressed as a bride and sitting in her room. She says that she wants a '4 lari wala maang tikka' (for those who do not know its a maang tikka with 4 strands on it and Sarika is wearing a maang tikka with 2 strands on). Sarikas mother says that she has a 4 lari wala maang tikka but it will not go with your dress. Dadi says where will we find a 4 lari wala maang tikka now and Taruna volunteers and says that she wants her best friend to look beautiful on her wedding day so she will go to the jewellers and get one for her. Sarikas mother says theres no time but Taruna says she will be back before the baraat arrives. Meanwhile the baraat is in full swing with all of Jay's family dancing along and enjoying themselves.

Sarika phone rings and its Taruna who says that she got it and will be home soon and Sarika tells her to hurry up. After Sarika has hung up a van hits Taruna and she falls to the ground and faints with blood on her forehead. Sarika then gets a call from Tarunas phone where a man is informing her of Tarunas accident. Sarika is shocked and speechless. Sarikas mother/father and Tarunas mother/father, Sarikas dadi and jiju arrive and find out about Taruna. Tarunas parents are heartbroken and jiju gets them a taxi to get to the place where Taruina has had an accident. Sarika tells her mother she wants to go too as Tarunas her best friend and she went out coz of her. Her mother and Dadi say that no you have to stay as its your wedding day.

Sarika convinces her mother to let her go and says she will be back soon. Her mother lets her go and Sarika dressed as a bride gets on a motorbike leaves. While the baraat is going Shikha bhabhi seems to have seen Sarika but not recognised her. The baraat arrives and Sarikas mother does Jay's aarti. While the guests are inside Sarikas mother is worried where Sarika is and Jay's mother notices her worry and says she knows how it feels to give your daughter away. Meanwhile Sarika arrives by Taruna on the roadside and is heartbroken at seeing her unconscious.

Epi ends

Epi starts with Santosh saying to Sarikas mother that Icant wait to see my bahu in her wedding dress. Garima and Shikha arrive and say the pandit ji has asked to call the bride and that they will accompany Sarikas mother to get her from her room. Sarikas mother looks worried and thinks that Sarika is not back yet and so makes an excuse that Sarika has a headache so is resting for a while, I will go and get her.

Meanwhile Sarika is by Taruna on the roadside trying to wake her and a man volunteers saying that we cant wait for the ambulance any longer lets take her on my bike. Sarika says no it will be too risky as she has lost too much blood. The man says how do you know are you a doctor? Sarika then thinks and sees a drink stall nearby and gets ice from there and wraps it in a cloth and puts it on Tarunas head.

Dadi is waiting impatiently and asks Sarikas mother to hurry up and call Sarika. Shikha comes and says we have to wait as the bride has a headache and is sleeping. Santosh is angry at Shikha and Sarikas mother says she is going to get Sarika now and goes to speak with Sarikas dad. Shikha is watching this from a distance and says there is something going on why are the parents making an excuse and not bringing Sarika.

Meanwhile Taruna wakes and sees Sarika and says what are you doing go back home. Sarika says no I have to get you to hospital first. Taruna says tujhe meri kasam wapas ja. Taruna points to her bag and her mother gets the 4 lari wala maang tikka and Taruna hands it to Sarika and tells her to go. The ambulance arrives and the doctor checks Taruna and praises Sarika for applying the ice to stop the bloodflow. The ambulance takes Taruna.

Meanwhile Sarikas dad is saying to her mother why she let Sarika go. He is about to call Sarika when Shikha arrives and says she wants to see Sarika first and sees the loch on the door of Sarika room and says is it some sort of a rasam to loch the brides door from outside? Shikha goes in the room and Sarikas parents are worried as Sarika will not be there. Shikha asks where Sarika is as she is not here and sees the open window and says that she hasnt run away has she? Sarikas mother is about to explain when Sarika arrives. Sarika says she way in the bathrrom to get fresh and Shikha compliments Sarika that she loks nice and tells them to come down as everyone is waiting. Sarika tells her parents that Taruna is okay now.

Sarika comes and everyone is looking at how pretty she looks and Jay just keeps smiling and looking at her. The jai maala rasam begins and Jay moves out the way when Sarika is going to put the garland around him but then bows allowing her to put it on. The vidhis start and the

pheras begin. Sarika and Jay are really happy and look sweet together. The epi ends when Jay puts the mangalsutra and sindoor on Sarika.
