First things , first.
Waste of an episode and very poor screenplay. Except for the Jay-Maya-Piya-Abhay parts with some great scenes from Chaand and Haseena , you can forward most of the episode. I still can't believe that they actually put that Pancchi and Neel crap into a pivotal episode like this. Maha 'Episodes mostly serve as cliffhangers and it is the next episode that carries the real meat. So, yeah , the heart-stopping moment has been left for Monday so that all the fandom can get together and curse the team over the weekend, lol. Anyway, on to the episode and mind you , am only gonna talk about what made sense in the episode.
" Unka pyaar ajeeb hai. Kudrat ke har kaanoon se pare hai. Aur yahi kehte hain na vampires ki duniya mein ki har bandhan ko todhne ka ek hi tareeka hai ' Saccha Pyaar."
" Their love is strange. It is beyond all the laws of nature and universe. Isn't that what you believe in the world of vampires ? That the only way a curse , a supernatural barrier can be broken is through true love."
Haseena sums up the essence of Abhay-Piya's relationship and why Piya would be the one to release Abhay from the ice grave. Their love is soul-love and they are soulmates. Am sure Jay would agree since most of the 'awakening of Abhay' has been engineered by him. Well, we will come to that later as Jay deserves a special mention for his conniving vile mind and the chessboard that he set up.
On to the episode, finally'.
Piya heard Abhay and his goodbye . The voice rose from her heart and that did it for her. The Abhay's Piya inside him was unleashed and she became unhinged and almost insane, taking Jay and her Dad by surprise. Piya knew inside that somewhere in the woods her world was coming to an end ' he , her angel, her savior , her guide was about to go and she may never hear or see him again. She just screamed at him that he can't go. There is no way he can go anywhere leaving her behind. So, off she goes into the woods to find him , to save him. The call of love ' a love she doesn't even remember. But knows that if she doesn't save him , she is going to be lost forever. Breaking all barriers , running out of the castle , her breath caught in her throat ' she goes out on a wild goose chase , perhaps not even knowing that whom she is going to save or where she is gonna find him ' just driven by the terror that she may lose him'.
Such is the power of a soulmate's love.
Haseena , a powerful vampire but a helpless mother breaks all laws of the vampire world and comes running to her son' s grave to stop the world from staking him. Not caring about the laws and the rules, she harnesses all her supernatural force and sends the poor labourers flying away from the grave. Almost , its like nature warning the mortals that this cold grave is not even to be touched. The love , the ferocity , the protection of a mother for her baby and Haseena brings it out with such emotion that you are forced to wonder if she is a monster at all? She looked like such a wounded tigress when those men were on the verge of hurting Abhay. Chaand , knowing how vulnerable Haseena is about Abhay , comes and stands in her way. You can't do this Haseena. We love Abhay but we need to accept fate. Abhay is never going to come back and if it is in his destiny to be staked by mortals, we might as well deal with it. Haseena rages , rants and even gets ready to fight him if he tries to stop her from saving her son . Chaand feels sad but he is never the one to be driven by emotion. He is practical and all he can tell Haseena to pacify her is that she should take solace in the reality that finally, Abhay will be released from a life of sin and damnation. Helpless, shattered and tired , Haseena goes away with Chaand , giving one last look to Abhay's grave.
But Chaand underestimates destiny and her plans. No, it is not the time for Abhay to go. It is not in his destiny to be staked and turned into a handful of dust. It is the time for Abhay to WAKE UP. And nature throws that in your face'
The ice is as firm as iron slabs and no human force seems to be able to break through it ' the fear of the supernatural grabs the workers and they run off , refusing to even touch Abhay in his sleep. Yes, the forces of nature and the forces of the supernatural stand between Abhay and the mortal destroyers.
Such is the power of a mother's love and destiny when fate decides to put its plans into action. There was no way anyone could have hurt Abhay tonight.
And what is Destiny's plan? Piya Jaiswal.
She is driving madly through the roads telling Abhay not to go anywhere , not to leave her behind . Where he is , she is coming and he must wait for her. She is hit by a tidal wave of emotions that are not making any sense but breaking her apart. She feels as though life is slipping out of her hands and she is holding on to an edge of a silk thread that is being pulled out of her hands as she tries to hang on to it desperately. 'but reaching Abhay has never been easy for Piya. It has always been a tough arduous road and a test. So, fate plays a little joke and Piya's car breaks down , stranding her in the middle of nowhere.
Piya's lone scene in the middle of the road where she is frustrated , angry , devastated and frantic that she has lost all contact with her angel is touchy. She just screams and rants that she doesn't even know who she is so desperate to save but all she knows is that if she loses him, she is going to lose everything. Like a mad bull , locking horns all over , just because she doesn't know what to do in this desperate hour ' she madly waves at cars to stop , even swearing and cursing that if the car doesn't stop , she is gonna kill the driver. And once again, fate intervenes. Fine, you want to go and save him ' GO. But there is no way you can save him without knowing who he is, Piya.
So, in that dark, hopeless night , comes a messenger of fate ' Maya. A girl whose life was not just saved by Abhay-Piya but reconstructed as well. Bright , shining and happy ,she greets a clueless Piya with gregarious love. And you feel bad for Piya when she tries to search for Maya in her fragmented memory bank ( which makes you feel like punching Abhay because the girl is basically a psycho-emotional mess )'..but Maya pulls her into the warmth , not even realizing that her once-bestie doesn't even remember who she is. Piya cares for nothing right now ' she wants to just reach the jungle and save her savior.
And then, Maya lifts one veil from Piya's lost past. She tells Piya how much she has missed her and Abhay and how grateful she is to both of them. That how perfect they both were always , fitting together like soulmates and so madly in love. An already frantic and confused Piya is baffled to know that Abhay was no villain- he was her hero and she was madly in love with him. Thrown into another abyss of memories while she is trying to sort out an immediate emergency at hand, you applaud the girl for not having a nervous breakdown. And there goes, Maya, Throwing the images of Piya's love life with Abhay in her face ' encased in beautiful pictures in her cellphone simply because Maya felt close to both of them. A stunned , numbed Piya sees her tale of love with Abhay in those photographs when she and Abhay used to live in a happy pink bubble. Piya Jaiswal raises her head from beneath the new and not-so-improved-version and '' images, all happy and emotional images of her and Abhay slap her mind like a thunder clap. Piya ' with her connection to her dying savior ' knows that yes, the man she wants to save so desperately is ABHAY.
No, Piya's memory doesn't come back. It cannot come back on its own even though Piya Jaiswal tries hard to break through Piya Dobriyaal. Piya's head reeling, she knows that she had a beautiful life with Abhay but as she said , she cannot recall anything except these beautiful flashes. Like I said, we are talking supernatural here. Abhay is the only one who can restore her mind-memory ' it can't come back like a computer data on its own. Heart memory can give feeling , give remembrances but it cannot restore the conscious mind.
So, drowning in a sea of emotions and information, Piya gets off Maya's car and runs towards the woods, to stop anyone from harming Abhay. She screams at Jay who is pretending to stake Abhay and Jay , playing along his own master plan gets away as Piya shields the grave with her hands and her rapid emotions. Jay keeps on provoking her indirectly and scolding her but Piya is listening no more. Besotted and fixated with the sight of the ice and the possibility of Abhay being here , she tells Jay not to touch this spot ' someone is here , somebody very important and she is going to save him. She keeps caressing the cold ice and her face is caught in a spasm of emotions. The stage is set , so Jay withdraws , to put the final straw in the haystack of his masterplan''leaving Piya alone with her Abhay'..
But was Abhay going to come out just like that? No. The process of the spell breaking had begun the very night Piya had touched a sleeping Abhay's heart ' the culmination was today. So, the werewolves rise to tell Abhay that he can sleep no more ' if he does, Piya pays the price. Piya , confused and emotionally wrought wonders if all this is a hallucination ,an illusion? Is Abhay at all here?Is Jay right that she is talking impossible? '.the werewolves begin to close in and Piya gets scared ''.
And , in one split second moment , the ice of Maithli's obsession breaks and the hand of love springs out- grabbing a terrified Piya's hand '..
The knight rises to the rescue of the princess and their hands meet ' across the barriers of life , death and Maithli.
Its amazing , isn't it? Today, Piya, Haseena, forces of nature and Jay ' they all came together like a perfect plan to awaken Abhay. But ironically, if you look at it, only Jay and only Jay knew that Abhay is going to wake up today ' almost as if he designed the blueprint of destiny's plan for Abhay.
Special mention to Jay, by the way.😍
Beyond the dusky good looks and gorgeous hazel eyes, lies an extremely quick and conniving mind. He is nothing of what we have been seeing on the surface. He was and he is a man with a plan which he executed successfully today. He had come to Dehradun for Abhay Raichand and he got him. Look back and everything falls into place like a jigsaw puzzle . Jay's entry into Dehradun as soon as Piya got back from Paris. Jay throwing that familiar attitude and throwing Piya in those Abhay-Piya situations so as to shake her memory. Jay impersonating Abhay on FB and reminding Piya how much she loved Abhay. Jay calling Piya to the spot where Abhay was buried . Jay observing Piya's talks with Abhay in the woods while in hiding. Jay reporting to some unknown authority that Piya is getting her memory back .
Jay has pushed Piya towards Abhay with all his force but slowly and slyly , almost like the moves on a chessboard. Even today , wasn't Jay's plan just glaring in the face? Jay knew that the workers will refuse to dig the ice grave and he knew he'd have to go to the woods. Even if MDK wouldn't have told him , he would have headed to the woods anyway.
How conveniently Jay arrived at the very time when Piya was about to come running to save Abhay and how coolly he sent the whole staff away in search of the runaway workers. Of course, he was not going to stake Abhay ' he just faked it to provoke Piya. So that she shields the grave with her hands. Jay very well knew that the spell had been broken and all he needed was a trigger to get Abhay out. And what better trigger than putting Piya into danger? So, very smartly , the handsome lad pretends to get angry with Piya and distracted by some woman's calls while Piya protects the grave. Jay withdraws into the dark and lo, behold! Rise of the werewolves to feast on Piya''..result ? ABHAY rises.
What a cool, clean, smooth and smart job, Jay. The man not only has brains but knows how to use them. He wanted Abhay ' ALIVE ' and he got him.
I don't understand how else or how in any other way the creatives can explain Jay's role in freeing Abhay from Maithli's curse.
P.S- Its quite in dark humour but if you look at it , its Jay who has rescued Abhay. Piya is the spell-breaker and Haseena ' the protector. But the engineer of Abhay's awakening is Jay Khurana.
P.P.S- YAYYY! Chaand and Haseena were back in full form today and so was the SUPERNATURAL AURA.
