Babuji gets suited and booted to go to Megha International, he comes out the house and chats with Iravati and Bua outside the house. Iravati tells him to keep his cool when he goes there. Babuji says hes going to go get back Avinashs hotel!
Durga shanker has held a board meeting at Megha International (Megha International is now called ''M and M International''..after Durga took over). Durga is standing at the head of the table with some other guy beside him (He looks prim and proper as opposed to his usual weaselly self). He tells everyone that Megha International is incurring many losses and should be sold off so that everyone can make profits before it goes down the drain. The man standing beside Durga shanker is not very happy and tells Durga that he should think it over but its not like Durgas gonna listen to anyone. Durga further says that some NRI has agreed to buy the company anyway. The board of directors pretty much have agreed with Durga and signed a declaration of some kind. Durga looks at it and then says ''why have only 80% of you signed the sheet..whos the other 20%''. Bhavani Shanker marches into the office meeting with Rimjhim, Kaveri and Yashoda behind him (like some mini-army). Rimjhim says that ''Megha holds 20% of the shares in her name, and considering shes underage and im her mother...im not going to sign that declaration''. Durga is alittle rattled. The man beside Durga introduces Bhavani to the board of directors as Avinash's father and Durga's elder brother. Bhavani tells the board of directors that his son was the previous owner of this company and he toiled hard day and night to build this company up from scratch.. and now i cant see it sold off when it can still reap profits''. Yashoda puts in a good word or two as well. The man standing beside Durga tells everyone that ''Bhavani is right and this company can reap profits so why sell it now at such a low price''. Durga tells everyone that they better not agree as it'l mean trouble. But everyone agrees with Bhavani to NOT sell the company. The good man standing beside Durga says that Bhavani is a very experienced and accomplished and man and he should be head of board of directors...everyone agrees. Bhavani is gratefully happy. Durga marches out but Bhavani stops him and goes up behind him and whispers in his ear ''this is my sons company..you cant come along and become boss..now get lost!''. Durga goes. The set of three daughter-in-laws look on happy.
Iravati is on the phone talking to someone about something important. Khan comes along and she hastily puts the phone down. Khan tells her that Babuji is home. Bhavani comes into the room and Iravati wonders what happend with baited breath..he tells Iravati that they won and he is head of the company and all the board of directors have agreed not to sell the company. Iravati is very happy. Babuji says ''its all due to Rimjhim!''.Kaveri agrees and says ''yes its all Rimjhims hard work''. Iravati smiles (i dont know if its directed at Rimjhim or not).
Babuji is on the phone talking to Lalvani (Rakeshs lawyer). Lalvani wants his fees paid in full. Bhavani pleads with him and says he will get the money before the hearing tomorrow morning. Lalvani finally agrees. Bhavani puts the phone down and Iravati asks him if everything is ok. Bhavani looks worried and says the phone call was from Lalvani about Rakeshs lawyer fees. Iravati tells him that the money will be arranged for tomorrow mornings hearing. Bhavani is curious and says ''how''. Iravati says ''Remember my mother had given me land a long time ago and you refused to take it away from me because you said it was mine..well that land has now doubled in value and i sold it''. Bhavani gets worried. Iravati tells him that shes knows that the daugher-in-laws selling the jewelery is wrong for their honour but a mother selling her land for her childrens freedom is right.
Babuji comes home with Rakesh. Yashoda has tears of happiness and hold each others hands. Kaveri and Rimjhim touch his feet and hes humbled. Iravati hugs her son. Bua hugs him too.
Rakesh plays with his son Soham in his bedroom. Yashoda smiles. He and Yashoda talk about things in the house and how Babuji is handling things. Rakesh talks about Avinashs disapearance as well.
Rimjhim phones Inspector Girish to see if hes found Megha but he hasnt. Rimjhim is frustrated. Then she gets a positive call from Prem about Vijay.
