I thank Aamir for forcing us to grow up: RGV

After singing "Baba badnaam hui" on his micro blogging site, RGV says the explicitness of the lyrics of "DK Bose" will unleash a new genre of films.

Trust Ram Gopal Varma to come up with a unique way of expressing his opinion. With everyone sharing their opinions on the Baba Ramdev's actions, RGV has come up with his own take. The director, who is as known for his controversies as his movies, had earlier written in his micro blogging site that he didn't know who Ramdev was since he was not into Babas.

More recently, he wrote: "Purana picture Anna Hazare media theatre se nikal gayi aur naya picture Ramdev lag gayi." From talking movies in reference to Baba Ramdev, RGV has now gone musical. Taking a cue from Salman Khan's hit number from "Ready", RGV says, "What did Baba Ramdev say to Anna Hazare? "Agar main karoon tho saala character dheela hai" . As if that wasn't enough, RGV then shifted to a parody of a song from yet another Salman Khan movie. In his micro blogging site, he posted: "Baba badnaaam hui...Babaaa badnaaam huiii la la la."

While on a song, the controversial "DK Bose" number from " Delhi Belly" has caught the director's fancy. "It's brilliant," he says. On being asked if they are morons who have been saying that the song is unfit on moral grounds and unsuitable for children and RGV says, "Yes. I think Aamir is driving Indian cinema into a new age and I love him for that." So, does he like the lyrics of "DK Bose", which are supposedly being considered vulgar by some directors (read Anubhav Sinha)? "I think, it's high time we all grew up. I really thank Aamir for forcing everyone of us to grow up. I think the language and the explicitness will unleash a new genre of films which will more surely bring us closer to world cinema," he signs off.
