Yet another leap of three to five years is in the offing for television's top rated and Ekta Kapoor's flagship show, Pavitra Rishta.

And with that, one of the most loved couples, Manav and Archana, will become proud parents. But think of the show minus its Manav and you would shudder at the very idea. Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav will meet with a car crash and will go missing for a couple of epiosdes, only to rise from the dead once the leap is introduced. But this saw some protest from actors especially the leading couple, when the impending leap was announced. Informs a source from the sets, Actors especially Sushant wasn't happy with the idea of playing a father at this juncture of his career. The leap will be anything between three to five years and will be introduced by the end of this month. Sushant politely voiced his reservations to age on the show but the makers finally convinced him to play a father, as according to them the leap is inevitable.
