Bollywood: Kareena Kapoor's '36 China Town' opens
Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor starrer murder mystery '36 China Town' releases tomorrow, Friday. The film has been directed by the director duo of Abbas-Mastan, who are returning after a gap of two years. Hot and Handsome model Upen Patel debuts in the film. The cool Akshaye Khanna too starrs in the film along with Paresh Rawal, and beauties like Tanushree Dutta, Isha Koppikar and Payal Rohatgi.

The film shows Raj (Shahid) and Priya (Kareena), two strangers struggling to make a living in a new city. They find a lost child and decide to share the reward money. But when they reach the child's house, they find the mother dead. In Panic, they flee, leaving behind a suitcase and their footprints, which make them the prime suspect. Inspector Akshay (Akshaye Khanna) is given the charge of the case and how he goes on to solve it is the climax of the film.
The director duo is hoping to cash on the real life romance of Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapur. Upen Patel plays a playboy in the movie. Music has been directed by Himesh Reshammiya, who has also sung a song for the film.
The brilliantly composed rhythmic love 'n' dance track, 'Aashique Ye Meri', shot on a whopping Rs 3 crore budget, featuring a bare bodied Upen Patel, Shahid Kapur and a sizzling Kareena Kapoor is already a chartbuster and is generating lots of pre-release hype about the film
It remains to be seen if the film lives up to the audiences expectations when the film releases tomorrow.
