The episode starts with DK and Disha leaving the Police Station (with DK's arms around Disha 
), with Inder giving such wistful looks at Disha and she in turn looking embarrased out of her life. As soon as both of them are out of the police-station, Disha gives a disgusted look at DK and frees herself from him and goes and sits in the Car. DK just gives a twisted, evil smile (The "I Won this round" kind of a smile)
The next day Inder is sitting in his room and shedding tears in the memory of his ex-lover (Pathetic loser, this guy is!) and generally remembering Disha. He gets repulsed by the thought of DK holding Disha in his arms and tries to shrug of the memory. Just then, daddy dearest comes and tries to pacify Inder telling him that let bygones be bygones and that he has to begin Life afresh. Inder says that it is very difficult for him to forget Disha and think of a life without her. He says that losing her was bad enough, but losing her to DK has been the biggest blow to him. Anupam says that its too late for any amends to be made and now nothing can be done. He says that Inder should try and stay away from Disha now, for her own safety and happiness. Inder does not reply back.
The next morning at the Kanaka house, DK and Disha are sitting at the breakfast table (Disha looking very sexy in a deep purple chiffon saree and DK as usual looking really, really cool!) Both of them are not talking to each other, but Disha seems to have an expression of "How do I say this?" DK is busy digging into his Parantha and seems to be totally oblivious of Disha sitting with him. As he takes his first morsel, he gets a confused expression on his face and then he waits for two minutes and takes another bite, he then gets a "I like this" kind of expression on this face.
He calls for Dev and takes out a 500 Rs. note from his wallet (I like generous men!) and hands it over to Dev. He says, "Aaj Aapne Breakfast bahut accha banaya hai, yeh rakh lijiye" (You have made the breakfast very well today, please keep this).
Dev is visibly embarrased and tries to say something but Disha stops him by saying that she wants to speak to DK alone. Our DK being the shrewd man he is, guesses something and tells Dev to wait and asks him what is it he wanted to say. Dev gets very frightened and keeps throwing glances from Disha to DK. Disha nods her head to request Dev to keep quiet, but DK who is really irritated by now asks Dev forcefully what is it that he wanted to say. Dev splutters that it is Disha who made the breakfast and not him. As soon as Dev says this, DK gets a stony expression on his face and he pushes the plate back (He was very mean in this scene!) and gets up furiously. He throws a cold look at Disha and says that if she ever cooks again in this house, he will never eat here.
DK says "Tum Meri Biwi nahin ho, jo is ghar mein khana pakaogi, phir kabhi tumne mere liye is ghar mein kuch bhi banaya, toh yaad rakhna, mujh se bura koi nahin hoga".
Disha is shown very hurt for a moment but immediately hides her real feelings. She replies back calmly to DK that its his problem if he doesn't want to have his food and asks Dev to leave as she wants to speak to DK. She seems to be a little reluctant to say what she wants to, but then bucks up and speaks to DK:
Disha says that she never thought she will ever says these words to DK, but since her upbringing dictates that she is a grateful person, she thanks DK for helping out Inder and saving him from going to jail. She says that she is thanking DK only because she is different from the person that DK is and however bad he has been to her, she will always be thankful for his help in this issue. DK just gives her a nasty stare and then bursts out laughing (he laughs terribly, I have to say!) in a very evil manner. Disha is taken aback and wonders what has she said to make him react like this. DK says that by saying thanks to him, Disha has actually proved that she is not like DK and that she can never even dream of becoming like him. Disha just gives him a confused look. DK says:
"Tum hai kya laga, maine Inder ko kyon bacchya, tumhare liye? (Very saracstically) Yeh tumhari bahut badi galat fahmi hai. Tum hain yeh laga, ki maine Inder ko Faasi se bacha liya. Tum nain kal uska chhera nahin dekha tha, jab maine tumhain apni bahaon mein le liya tha. Ek premi ke liey is se badkar kya sazza ho sakti hai, ke ussiki nazaron ke saamne, uski premika ko ek parayaa mard haat layage. Kal raat ko Inder ko Faasi se bhi bad kar sazza mili hai, Disha. Woh ek hi baar main sau maute mar gaya."
(TRANSLATION FOR CHETS & NAVS) DK tells Disha that is Disha under the false impression that DK has actually bailed out Inder for her sake, that she is thanking him. He says that when DK took her in his arms yesterday, Inder got a punishment far worse than being hanged. He says that nothing can be worse for a lover than to see his lover being touched by another man. He says that yesterday night, Inder has died the equivalent of 100 deaths and that has been DK's victory. DK says that he has not forgiven Inder for getting into a fight with him and that he will even this out with him, he says that he never fogives and forgets an insult or a kindness. Disha just looks on shocked at DK.
At the Bhosale house, the bitchy Sukanya is taunting Suhasini (this woman deserves it) generally. Ranu is not keeping very well as she misses her father and Disha. Azu Ba is very depressed about the whole situation. Ranu comes down for breakfast looking very depressed as she has been getting nightmares about her father's accident (if you guys remeber, it was the taxi in which she was travelling which hit her Father's Car). Azu Ba and Suhasini give her moral support and tell her to take care of her health. Ranu says that today is Diwali and she misses her father and Disha badly, she says that Disha used to light up the entire house on Diwali. Suhasini feels very bad and tries to stop her tears.
In the next scene, Disha is shown going somewhere in her Car and she sees a young couple getting lovey dovey with each other (the guy is giving the girl a chocolate), she remembers a blast from the past when Inder had gone out of station and had come back with a "Teddy Bear" 
for Ranu and a bar of Chocolate for Disha & had generally teased her! Disha gets very nostalgic about the whole episode and thinks about the fatal direction which her once happy life has taken.
Disha is then shown in DK's house, where she is doing some spring cleaning. Dev sees her and is very surprised. He takes the dusting cloth from her hand and asks her what is she upto. Disha says that it is Diwali and she is just cleaning her house. Dev says that DK would be very angry if he comes to know that Disha has moved even 1 piece of furniture from one corner to another. He says that DK hates changes & can't stand anything which goes against his wishes. Disha says that she doesn't see anything wrong in cleaning her own house and that she is planning to decorate the house for Diwali. Dev almost faints when he hears this. He says that DK hates Diwali and more than that he hates his house being lit up for Diwali. He says that he had once lit up two diyas for Diwali a few years back and when DK came to know it, he had created such an issue out of it. Dev says that DK has a terrible temper and that Disha should be wise enough not to be the reason to make him lose it. Disha replies back calmly that it was ok for DK to do his bidding as long as he lived alone in his house, now she is the bahu of the house and since it is her first Diwali, it is the tradition in a Hindu family to celebrate Diwali for a new bride. She tells Dev to get so many Diyas that every corner of the house should be lit up with the light of the diyas, she says that on the "Amavasya" night of Diwali, every corner of this house will be filled with light. (The Amavasya indicates DK and the Diya indicates Disha!) Dev is very happy and goes to fetch the Diyas from the market.
In the next scene, a bored looking DK is seen distributing bonus to his employees, just then the terrible looking girlfriend of his come in looking like a street side waif! She asks him what is it he is doing. DK replies back saradonically that can't she see that he is distributing Bonus to his employees for Diwali. He says that among his business contemporaries, he is the only one to give the maximum amount of bonus to his employees. He says that employees are like Dogs, the only way to buy their loyalty and committment is to keep giving them bones / money. (He is crazy alright!) Sanya says that she was not asking about him distributing bonus, she asks him that if he hates Disha so much, then why did he bail out Inder? DK replies back sharply that he helped out Inder because it made business sense to him, he says that he would have made sure that Inder got to the gallows in case Taj had died, but that nuinsance of a Taj recuperated, hence, Inder would have been free anyway. He wanted to have a upper hand on Disha by helping out Inder, which he now has. Just then Taj comes in and DK asks him why has he come when he should be taking rest, Taj very slyly says that he has come to collect his bonus. DK gives Sanya a "See, I told you, money makes the world go round" kind of a look and Sanya is shown amazed at DK's brains!
In the next scene at the Kanaka house, Disha is shown decorating the entire house with Diyas, Dev just stands there looking like a frightened puppy wondering how his master will react when he comes home. He tells Disha that DK is a very strange guy and that he never does "Laxmi Poojan" or anything traditional on Diwali but throws a huge party for all his business associates and friends on the next day of Diwali. He says that all the hot and happening people in town gather for his party. Disha is totally unimpressed and comments that only a person like DK can be expected to do such things, but now that she has come, she will change every rule and regulation of his house. Dev just gives her a "All the best" kind of a look.
Just then DK comes back home (looking so hot in a Coffee coloured suit) and is shocked out of wits to see his house full of Diya's. He screams at the top of his voice on Dev and asks him how dare he light Diya's in his house. He says that he will kill Dev for this, just then Disha comes (looking so pretty in a shimmering emerald green saree.......is DK blind not to notice his pretty, young and sexy wife???) in with a Thali and says that she has decorated the house and that Dev has nothing to do with it. He gives Disha a hateful look and says that he hates Diwali and how dare she mess around with his house. Disha replies back calmly that inspite of their marriage being a contract on paper, she is still his wife and by that respect, it is her house also. She says that she loves Diwali and that she wanted the darkness of his house to get dispelled by lighting up Diyas, hence she decorated this house. DK gives Disha a cold, hard stare and with furious expression, throws the Thali from her hand while Disha looks back at him defiantly & bravely.

Dying to see what happens now!!!!!!!! One has to comment again and again, that these two really heat up the scene.......they look absolutely awesome together!!!!
