Reconciliation between Gitanjali and Shweta was more than evident when they spotted enjoying themselves at a suburban theatre. Shweta agrees to having gone out with Gitanjali and says, "It is true that Gitanjali and I had gone to watch The Mistress of Spices together."
Shweta, who has been the centre of innumerable speculations involving Cezanne Khan and Gitanjali, denies having any differences with Tikekar ever.
She says, "There was never any fight between us. Yes, there was a time when Cezanne, who she was said to be dating back then, had stopped her from talking to me. We did not talk to each otherwhen he was around but we were always cordial when we were alone."
Now that Cezanne is blissfully involved with Subha Verma, the other two women have bonded and discovered friendship. "Recently, there was a dinner party at my house and I had invited most of my female co-stars. Since there was never any personal grudge against Gitanjali, I took the opportunity to mend the ties between us then," says Shweta. "There are too many foes around and I didn't want more names added to the list. She is a great girl and we get along well."
Gitanjali seems happy to have cleared her differences with Shweta. She too says, "We were never at loggerheads. She and I had a working relationship earlier but it's only off-late, that we have bonded."
