neha & karan (old peehu & krish) were replaced coz they were too young to play in the 5 year leap...neha was young to play a married girl...

Actually the serial took a five year jump in its story , and the producers replaced both Neha and Karan rai (Krish) as they felt that the 2 of them looked too young.
