TOI: Sumit dreams big!

Actor Sumit Kaul who is currently seen as the negative lead Sudarshan in TV show Laagi Tujhse Lagan is a well known face in advertising circles with prominent ads — he has even done an advertisement of Aviva Life insurance with Sachin Tendulkar.

Sumit debuted as the parallel lead in a film called Sheen and has been part of Nadira Babbar's Ek Jute group also.

He recently shot for a short film called Stations by FTII student. "I debuted with Sheen, did loads of advertisements and I am enjoying my stint in television. It feels good that my show is gaining so much popularity. TV is a mass medium and its reach is amazing. I definitely want to do more films but the role has to be substantial. I am talking to few film makers and I hope something materializes soon."
