I think what beauty_angel means is that the new lady cop Tejali is Angad's (Iqbal Khan's) cousin in the show KYPH but not in real life.

Her real name is Mansi Verma.

Priya, Mansi Verma was introduced as Aliya a tomboyish girl, Aniittaa's younger sister and Angad's cousin in KYPH. She rides bike to music academy and is good to Kripa. Later when they introduced Mishti, Aliya was never shown after that. Hope this clears the confusion.
