Ennanga da??? Anyways, GDP and Nandhini come to meet Aakash and ask for the free medical camp. Aakash says that it is an expensive and tedious procedure " how many doctors can I send and that too for nearly a week?? We can not afford such luxury !!! " GDP talks about keeping a mom at home and nursing her as against sending her to a home ( Roja kku sathiyama puriyalai..enna relevance??) Finally gets up folds her hands and talks to Suresh Bharathy about what he wanted to do and how his descendants are not keen about flying his charitable flag high. Nandhini does not know what hit her, she also folds her hands and closes her eyes. Aakash falls hook, line and sinker , uh huh The whole scene was so so artificial !!! Mission accomplished.

Rathy digs - " so poor people namba hospital ai paarthu bayanthu'may not come??" Aakash says that these days the public want to enter only a hi-tech facility. Hassina comes in as Mahalakshmi and talks about her faux pas ' " spoke to that Sathya 'all about my history'.ippO avan kanna pinna nnu ezhuthi'.ungalai Avamaana paduthi'" Aakash jumps " I told you that we should send that guy to abacus training. You stopped me from complaining .ippO he is back to bothering us " PK calls Aakash and of course he rushes to meet PK, the great. Rathy asks Maha " you know that guy'.why did u play in to his hands??"

Update for Tues, May 31, 2011:

PK asks his secretary, Mani, to call the editor of KaNNgaL magazine. PK talks to Mr, KamalakaNNan (KK) and asks him about his health, does some flattery and then comes to the point - bury the story about Shanthi Nilayam. In return, I will give you Rs. two lakhs. KK talks of thozhil neyarmai, so PK raises the offer to three, then four lakhs, then they settle on Rs. five lakhs, cash.

GDP and her friend Nandini in her office, GDP is trying to find out why Nandini was dumbstruck when she saw Akash, and Nandini confesses that she has fallen hard for Akash. Some teasing goes on between them. Nandini thinks he looks like Tom Hanks (and I look like the actress, Sneha!) and GDP teases her (and I am wondering about the need for this segment).

KK tells someone to print the edition of the magazine without the story of Shanthi Nilayam in it, he says that it has already been printed, so KK tells him to print it again. This guy goes out and tells Sathya all about it, and Sathya is furious because he has just finished gloating about it to his friend, the Inspector. He goes and asks KK, who says PK begged him not to publish that story because it will affect the reputation of Shanthi Nilayam, and PK being a director of the board, didn't want it to come out. Sathya comes to the point and asks him how much the bribe was, and leaves, angry, saying that there are other magazines in the city and he will go to one of them.

KK calls PK and warns him about Sathya's anger.

Vasanthi is getting the old newspapers out to give the pazhaiya paperkaaran. Just when he is weighing them, she sees an article in one of the issues, gets busy reading it, and doesn't even notice when the man pays her. She runs to the phone to call her husband, then comes back to the puja room, talks to God, and says she will do cheetu, if she gets kungumam, then she will take it as a go ahead signal, if she gets vibhuti, then it will be a Stop sign. She goes outside, finds a boy playing outside, and asks him to pick a cheetu. He picks the kungumam, so she is excited and runs to the phone to call her husband and asks him to come home, so she can tell him her news. She thanks the Lord Murugan and decides to do an abhishekam in Pazhani.

Rathi- Periappa - Akash having light chit chat. Rathi teases periappa growing younger & younger with his latest dressing style ' of late started wearing check shirts [ Thirumurugan kathu adichuduthu pola ]. Periappa refutes , says a butterfly cannot be a larva. Now coming to the point ,periapp tells Rathi that it is better she changes her misconception about PK. It is because of him sathya matter is closed. KaNkal editor dropped the idea of publishing Sathya's article. Akash does chaing chak.rathi is not ready to buy this argument , is sure PK must have done some golmaal. PK comes , given a clapping welcome by periappa. Rathi kadu kadu. Chellameyin oosipona Vadai paga uruging here. With a false smile on his lips avizhthu viding his Gandhian principles ' went and met the KaNkaL editor , convinced him our side nyayam dharmam , & the editor dropped the matter immediately. Awww Rathi is not ready to believe it while periappa/ Akash completely floored. Akash opines had Rathi too the same pakkuvam & handled Sathya deftly in the past such head aches could have been avoided.. Rathi is totally un amused. Akash & Periyappa leave. PK's drooling continues. Rathi not ready to accept his Gandhiya vadam asks him to come out with the truth. PK accepts bribing editor. Tried the same Gandhiyan ahimsa method with Sathya , didn't work , so resorted to himsa method , a small accident ,Sathya in hospital with plastered legs ,once bitten , never will try his stunt on SN again.

Vasanthi trying to ascertain husband's view on her selection of her mother as vadagai thai. Husband not happy with the idea- not suitable to our culture & society. Vasanthi says she cares two hoots for the society & their wagging tongue , convinced that there is nothing wrong in her suggestion . Now hubby raises the same doubt as that of eljay ' what happens to the relationship- will you be mother or sister to the baby ' your mother granny or mother? Endless arguments & counter arguments . Finally hubby yields to wife's wishes-Ennavo pannu , your happiness is also mine [ so sweet 😆]

Rathi walks in to Naren's room , fretting , fuming & panting ' rascal , scoundrel , porukki , rogue , idiot adjective galore. Naren thinks loudly I am sweet rascal who could be the verum rascal. Rathi is in no mood to enjoy his jokes. Declares she wants to have their marriage immediately ' 24^th of this month ' no invitation ' no mandapam ' just family & close relatives. Naren is clueless for this sudden outburst & decision. Presumes PK could be the reason , tries to persuade her not to take hasty decision. But Rathi is firm .As you please says another to be husband.[Again so sweet 😃

Drooling master comes to SN , apparently MD has sent the invitation to meet. Rathi greets him cordially & offers to take his seat. The man is in LaLa land. Indulges in self praise ' deposited Rs.404000 in Kaakum Karangal undiyal for usage of so many English words. Presents her a gold necklace.Rathi gives him a look [ superb emotional combination ' ivana paarthu kobap padaradha , sirikkiradha ,paridhabap padaadha , aathirappadaradha engira madhiri oru look👏 ].

Rathi informs PK about her decision to tie the knot with Naren on 24^th of the month[human anatomyla hero[in] but human psychologyla zero. Why in such a hurry 😡]. First invitation to him . PK says still 20 days there for the wedding , so many changes can happen ' surely will attend the wedding , will be seated in the front row to witness Naren tying the thali or for that matter to see How Naren ties the thali round her neck .

Thanks, Roja! Even a blind person could have seen through that fake GDP (I always mentally think - Gross Domestic Product, when I hear them call her that!) so how is it that Akash did not see through her? I almost left the room when I saw her unsagikkable performance! How I hope that PK sees her and falls for her!

Thanks Eljay - why do I have this funny feeling that Vasanthi wants her mom to be the surrogate mother?? And, nothing wrong after all - clinically but emotionally?? Moot point, eh??

Roja I too had the same thought . To say it might be a revolutionary idea ,how well can be accepted by our conservative society is the question mark. But then a section did appreciate his movie Kalki with a revolutionary concept. Myself- an ardent KB fan- like such new themes -far too better than saas bahu dramas.

@Roja and Srima, I too have the same feeling, I am just wondering if it is medically possible. Wouldn't her mother be too old for this, or is age not a barrier for surrogacy?

@Eljay - There is no age limit to be a surrogate mother. Pregancies over the age of 40 associates itself with increase in risks. The doctor decides if the surrogate mother is healthy to be one. The Instances of the grand mother being the surrogate mother has been in news.
