What a fabulous scene it was today about Naina's state of mind!
Naina cribbing to Daksh that Abhi has put her life in turmoil by asking her to marry him and now she is in the position of having (yet again) to please a woman who does not like her. She is almost speaking to herself when she says she has spent all her life running after someone's approval. That no matter what she did to please her mother, she always felt that it fell short because her mom WOULD NOT love her... poor Naina 😭😭😭😭
Then she suddenly realises that Daksh is standing in front of her and trails off... Daksh has been listening intently with concern on his face but realises she was inadvertently revealing her wounds... he tactfully brushes past what she said and assures her everything in the future will be ok, no matter if the past has not been perfect.
It was a lovely touch to add Naina's past and her own emotional turbulence to this issue because it is when it comes to understanding Naina that Abhi and his mother will FAIL and it is precisely THIS loving understanding that Naina needs and will get from Daksh and his Aayi.
