The serial has shown an interesting contrast between IMV's love for Chandraprabha vis-a-vis VV's love for Sabina.
Both have lost their love. IMV's loss has made him bitter and has infact been instrumental in d way he has faced life ever since. On the other hand, VV too has lost his love, but that has only made him more compassionate towards others.

nice observation...but it's not just the difference in their attitude towards loss or a reflection of the kind of person they are...because both the scenarios are too different.
VV lost his love and to his knowledge it was the case of his love not being reciprocated. While in IMV's case it's not just the case of loosing his lady love but also the humiliation he suffered at the hands of BB. BB humiliated and showed him his place, showed him how small he was in stature in front of BB, a complete mismatch. Bitterness in heart is quite natural. A feeling of taking revenge can creep in. A single minded determination to become so big that he can make BB seem like a dwarf and show him his place can become a preoccupation of his mind. However undesirable this might be, surprising it's certainly not.

Very well said. True in d case of VV nd S, they were on equal footing whereas 4 IMV it was d humiliation heaped by BB along wid d rejection that leads 2 d totally different reactions. It's all to do wid both their background...IMV felt embarassed by d humble background that he came frm which leads 2 him feeling inferior, which his ego cannot digest. Whereas VV is a very self-assured nd confident man whose ego isn't too big nd can therefore take rejection much better.

also IMV was humiliated simply for being in love w/ someone...thts so rude to happen...one doesnt get his/her love, but to top it one is also bitterly humiliated
Vaibhav only lost his love (which is no less pain actually), but he had other things to take over him quickly like business n marriage w/ Devki, so he didnt get too much time to think, cry over it n remain sad...where as IMV had enuf time to feel his pain, n also he lost his job (at BB's place), so he also got into a bad shape financially...
wht happened w/ IMV was worse than Vaibhav, i think.
