The episode begins with Bani sitting in the Bus where a Marriage party is also traveling along with them. Bani looks at the Bride and the Groom enjoying themselves and the Groom generally flirting with the Bride and giving her love-struck look, Bani's eyes well up with tears as her marriage flashes back in front of her eyes. Bani keeps remembering the entire marriage sequence and is not able to control her emotions as Jai's face keeps flashing infront of her eyes making her extremely emotional! A lady is sitting along with Bani who starts a conversation with her and asks her till where is she going, Bani tells her that she is going to a Farmhouse (Your Farmhouse silly!) and the lady tells her that the Bus is going someplace else and she would have to get down a few kilometers before the turn. Bani says that she would somehow manage on her own from there. The lady then gets up and puts tikka on the Bride's forehead and tells one of the girls traveling in the Bus to give Sindoor to all the Suhagan's in the Bus. The girl comes with the Sindoor to Bani and puts it on her forehead and a fresh bout of tears well up in Bani's eyes. The girl then comments that what a lovely Mangalsutra you are wearing, looks extremely expensive. The lady says that Mangalsutra has no value, its invaluable and the girl's (Bani's) husband must have given it with a lot of love. Bani is now totally emotional and suddenly remembers Jai putting the Mangalsutra around her neck during the marriage and keeps crying throughout the way! The title song plays in the background!
Bani gets out of the Bus and is standing in the wilderness waiting for a Bus or an Auto to come and then suddenly Jai's Car pulls up. Bani is taken aback as both Jai and Bani keep looking at one another. Jai then gives her a cold look and tells her that the Farmhouse is just 10 minutes away and she can hop into his Car and that he can manage to "Uthao her Bhoj" for atleast that long. Bani has no expression as she goes and tries to open the front door and then remembers Jai telling her not to sit in the front seat and she shuts the front door and seats herself in the back. Jai is taken aback as he was expecting Bani to sit with him in the front but doesn't say anything and continues staring at her from the rear view mirror! (Ye iska favorite occupation hai, ghoorte raho Bani ko!)
Everyone has already reached the Farmhouse and Sahil comments what is taking Mamaji an Mamiji so long to reach, while constantly giving romantic looks to Rano who is completely ignoring him! Aditya tells Sahil that unlike you, Jai is a very careful driver and since Bani is sitting with him, he must be driving extra carefully and hence they are late. Mausi then comments sweetly that they are newly married and maybe they took a little diversion in between, everyone is kind of embarrassed and Jigyasa looks furious!
Just then Jai's Car arrives and sexy gets out of the Car looking sexier than ever, with Bani following him like a little lamb….oh what an incredible cute pair they make! Sahil is busy hitting on Rano who is not even aware of his existence! Bani is just coming behind Jai with her head down and as Mausi greets them, she manages a shy smile. Jai gives Bani one look (a cute one) and smiles and kind of nods her to come with him! Bani is just quiet and subdued and Mausi comes and chats with her and tells her about the farmhouse and how Jai built in conjuction with his Punjabi background and his Mumbai influence. Mausi then says that this Farmhouse is Jai's favourite retreat and Jai always comes here to relax. Then Mausi comments that what I am telling you, Jai must have brought you here several times, isn't it. Bani is highly embarrassed and mumbles that she hasn't come her before. Mausi is very upset and calls Jai, who is enjoying himself sitting alone in the lawns (OMG…he was looking really cute today in Casuals!) and scolds him why hasn't he ever brought Bani to the Farmhouse before. Jai is stumped for an answer and gives a cold glance at Bani as if indicating that why did you have to say that, Bani looks apologetic and lost, while Jai makes an excuse of being busy with his work. Mausi reprimands him and tells him that how much ever work he has, he should not forget that he has a newly married wife at home and its his duty to take of her needs and happiness. Both Jai and Bani looks extremely uncomfortable and lost!
Bani is so scared of Jai, one look at her and she immediately averts her gaze! Mausi rocks bigtime. She tells Sahil that they will make a movie with Sahil's handycam, and everyone has to say something good about Bani! Jigyasa starts with a tarty comment, Aditya says that Bani is the kind of daughter every Father wishes for, Sahil says that Bani biggest strength is her love for her sisters (Rano kind of smiles on this comment!) Dadi says that Bani is the combination of beauty and intelligence and then Aditya takes the Handycam from Sahil's hands and tells Jai to comment on his wife. Jai is embarrassed out of his life and Bani kind of looks on a little hopefully to see if would say something, Jai very stubbornly comments that this is so kiddish (Look who's talking!) I am not playing such games. But then everyone insists, and Jai then says that everyone has said so much, he has nothing much to comment on Bani, poor kid, she looks very crestfallen! Mausi looks upset with Jai and tells him that if you won't comment, then I will say something on your behalf for Bani. Mausi then says that all the time Jai waited to get married and finally when he did, he found himself the perfect life partner. Mausi says that Bani is everything that a man looks for in a women and that Bani will fill Jai's life with all the happiness he ever dreamt of. Bani is overwhelmed with all that Mausi says while Jai keeps scowling throughout!
Everyone is sitting enjoying, and Jai asks Jigyasa whether she has arranged for Lunch or not. Jigyasa gets an evil smile on her face and says ofcourse I have and then calls out loudly, "Roshni"! The moment Jigyasa takes Roshni's name, Jai's face turns white with horror and shock and he keeps staring at Jigyasa who thinks to himself that, yes this is the reaction I wanted from Bhaiyaa. Just then a young girl is shown coming and Jigs introduces her as the new manager of the Farmhouse, Roshni. Jai kind of gets his breath back and looks a bit relaxed! Everyone gathers inside for Lunch. Everyone is having Lunch and Jai is busy tucking in, while Bani is serving food and then as she was about to get a plate for herself, Mausi tells Bani that why is she getting a separate plate for herself and that she should share her plate with Jai. Bani looks completely thunderstruck with the idea and Jai looks as if he will throw up any moment! Mausi then tells Bani that there is no need to be so shy, everyone present is only family members and that after marriage, a woman should eat a portion of her food from her husband's plate, Jai looks really embarrassed and Bani is at a loss. Bani then sits down with Jai and in what I thought was such an incredibly sweet scene, she takes one small portion of food and facing a little away from Jai gulps it down with great difficulty. Jai is barely able to eat anything…Mausi instantly notices the tremendous discomfort between both of them and looks a little depressed. Bani then puts down her spoon and is about to take a Vada or a Cutlet and at that very moment, unknowingly Jai also keeps his hand on the same food item and both of them look at one another. Bani then withdraw her hand and so does Jai and both of them stop eating after this. Mausi looks very upset with the state of affairs.
Everyone is again assembled in the lawns and Aditya proposes that they play a game of Chinese Whispers. Jai and Bani are cutely seated together while Sahil goes and sits between Jigyasa and Rano! The game begins with Jigyasa whispering into Sahil's ears that the greatest happiness for her will be when these two sister leaves the Walia House (Hey bhaggu, yeh aurat bhi) Shahil, the cutie-pie that he is gives one smile to Jigyasa and whispers in Rano's ears, "Tum mujhe bahut acchi lagti ho" Rano is totally embarrassed and says something in Dadi's ears and so it comes to Mausi who I must say rocks big time! Mausi gives a naughty look to Jai and Bani who are looking so mournful and sad, and whispers in Jai's ears, "I love you:" Jai blushes so cutely and gives a "Aap nahin sudharengi" look to Mausi and then turns towards Bani, who is looking really at illease and as Bani bends towards Jai he comes near her face (God, was it romantic or what!) and trying his best to suppress his smile, he whispers slowly, "I Love you." Bani's face turns scarlet with shock and embarrassment as she immediately lifts herself and keeps staring at Jai who has a half-amused, half embarrassed look and then before Bani could react, he further whispers that these words have no meaning for him and he is saying this only because this is a game. Bani keeps looking at him with a heart-breaking look and then turns to Jigyasa and whispers all that Jai said to her. Jigyasa is shocked and yells that I didn't say these words at all. Everyone bursts out laughing, except Jai and Bani!
Its time to leave and everyone is getting into their Cars. As Bani is standing alone, Jai drives in his Car and stops near her and gives one solid stare at Bani and opens the door for her, and this time it is the Front Door! (Good for you Jai!) Bani keeps looking at him for some time and then with great effort, opens the front door and sits with Jai who just cannot lift his eyes from her!
Summary and Comments:
Saat Pheron Ka Saat Hai, Chutega Nahin : The scene in the Bus where Bani keeps remembering her marriage to Jai was beautifully done! Kudos to Prachi for enacting the scene with such aplomb, she didn't have a single line to speak, yet her eyes and expression's conveyed everything! I loved the scene where she touches her Mangalsutra and remember's Jai tying it around her neck! Just indicates how much ever horrid a marriage might be, it still means the world to a women! And despite all that Jai has made her go through, Bani can never let go of the fact that she is bound to him by marriage! Also, the way she looks at the newly married couple enjoying jokes, and her face breaks into a smile and then tears was really heart-breaking! Poor Bani!😭
Billo Mausi rocks Big-time : Loved Billo Mausi today, infact loved everyone except Jigyasa today! Everyone seems to do their bit in getting Jai and Bani closer, but Billo Mausi really goes all out! I loved it when she tells Jai and Bani to share their food and then ofcourse the "I love you" thing in the Chinese Whispers! I thought that was simply wonderful! You go Mausiji!👏
Hum Saath Saath Hain : All said and done, Jai's heart does melt big time for Bani, though he tries his best to avoid showing the same to Bani! I loved it when they both share the food and as both of them are about to lift the same food item, Bani and Jai both withdraw their hands, assuming that the other person would like to eat it!😳Kuch bhi kaho, dil mein pyaar toh hai!
Aaja Meri Gaadi Mein Bait Ja : So finally, Mr. Kahdoos opens the door for Bani and makes her sit in the front with him, where she should be sitting! I wish he had just smiled a little bit when he did so! But nevertheless, I thought it was a sweet gesture, something must have happened during the day, that made Jai change his mind and make his wife sit with him in the front seat instead of letting her get down mid-way and catch a Bus! Now how I wish their Car breaksdown and they are forced to spend the night together in the Wilderness or better still go back to the Farmhouse!😳
Chinese Whispers : Finally we hear Jai saying "I love you" to Bani but then he had to also say that he doesn't mean a single word of it, not that Bani was all that thrilled to hear him declare his false love! Lolz...loved Jigyasa's reaction when Bani tells her exactly what Jai tells her!😆 Ab waisa din kab aayega, when Jai will whisper into Bani's ears that he loves her and mean every single word of it.....
Best Scene : Jai and Bani's Lunch scene was the best....loved the whole awkwardness and discomfort in the scene and yet the instant connectivity and understanding that these two share as they leave the piece of Cutlet for one another! Very well done! And I loved the last scene as well, when Jai opens the front door of his Car for Bani and keeps staring at her!😳
Performance Baraometer : Jai and Bani all the way! Though a special mention must be made of Mausiji aka Seema Bhargava also, very natural actress! Jai was extremely good in the Lunch Scene and the one where Jigyasa takes Roshni' name....the way his expression's convey his emotions are so powerful! Incredibly talented actor! Bani was outstanding in the Bus scene and the Lunch Scene, again what a natural and talented actress! Kudo to both of them!
