Poor Khadoos, his biggest problem, seems to be the number of women in his life....and unfortunately or fortunately, he seems to be the Apple of everyone's eyes!
First there is his horrid little sister Jigyasa, whom it seems cannot make up her mind whether she loves or hates or brother! This I am saying because, she is obviously extremely possessive about him, which means that she loves him a lot but at the same time, her only intention seems to be to land Jai in constant trouble, intentionally and unintentionally, that obviously means she must hate him! But Jigyasa is one sister that most brother's could do without! But Jigyasa has done the greatest thing a sister could do for her brother, get him married to the perfect girl!😉
Second, we have Pia, who made a monkey out of poor Jai. Accha khasa jee raha tha, she came into his life like a mild summer breeze and when she went away, it was like a Tsunami destructing everything in its wake! She made him fall in love, she made him rebel against everyone for her, she made him marry her and then finally she left him shattered and broken making a monster out of a good man! This was one woman, Jai could have very well done without! No wonder Jai tells Bani that give me back the time of my life when Pia was not a part of it.....
Third, we have Mausiji...a Mother figure for Jai, someone he obvioulsy adores a lot and someone who thinks the world of him! It seems Jai can do just about anything for Mausi, also sleep on the same bed as his estranged wife, just to assure Mausi that things are fine between him and his wife! It is through Mausi we get to know that Jai is nothing more than a poor, little rich boy whose biggest insecurity is his lonliness! Mausi has come has a stablizing infulence in his life and till she is around, atleast Jai will have a control on his volatile temper and acerbic tounge!
Foruth, we have Sonali! The woman who was devoted to him and loved him with all her heart, only to be completely ignored by Jai. Not that he deliberatley broke her heart, he was geniunly astonished to know that Sonali was so much in love with him...but he simply couldn't help it, she was always a good friend to him and nothing more and hence even if Pia hadn't come in between, the chances of Jai and Sonali getting together were very less! Surprisinly, Jai never once went back to Sonali for moral support after Pia left him and he was forced to marry Bani!
Fifth, we have Dadi! Jai seems to have a lot of respect for her, as he does for all his elders! But nothing more, Dadi is just completely in contrast to the intense, serious and aloof Jai...hence, he is more compatible with Mausiji! But Dadi seems to be besotted with Jai and loves him as much as she loves Aditya, even more at times! Hence, wants to see him happily settled with Bani, whom she knows would be the perfect life-partner for her "Jai Puttar"!
Sixth, we have this new entrant called Roshni Chopra! We don't know much about her except that this lady was once madly and passionatley in love with Jai and probably still is, but Jai never had any feelings for her! But then again, they were all set to marry, till Jigyasa intervened and broke Roshni's plans! The arrival of Roshni will spark the already saturated tension between Jai and Bani and she will inevitably end up becoming the catalyst for both the husband and wife coming upfront with their feelings for one another!
Seventh, we have our lovely Bani! She is everything Jai ever wanted in his life yet he closes his eyes to her! Bani is loving, caring, nurturning and indulgent besides being a beautiful, efficient and adept wife and career woman! Bani is all that Jai respects in people yet he never leaves a single chance to pull her down! Its not as if hates her, infact its the contrary, but the very fact that he is falling in love with her despite his best intentions leaves him fuming and confused! But it won't be long before Jai realizes where his real happiness was lying all the while, right before his eyes!
Cheers,
MT
