Thanks for the thread, Ankita! I haven't seen much of the show, all I can remember is their coverage of Mohini Avtaar and that I liked the song they used there. Do you know if the vids are available online? If so, please do share the link here as well as at the vid library, I'm sure many others will love to watch and discuss with you here.

It was on youtube but the account got deleted. On dailymotion 80% of the show is online. Its a nice show only after Ramavtar its rushed.

This show was really a nice one. Nitish Bharadwaj was awesome as always. Lakshmi, Shiva, Brahma were all great.

But I need to get one thing clarified. They show Vishnu floating on a leaf and then the leaf turns into Shesh Naag. IMO, the Baniyan leaf is supposed to be Lakshmi and not Shesh Naag. Shesh Naag was born much later, after creation. Nagas were children of Kadru and the first three principle Nagas were Shesh, Vasuki and Takshak. Manasa was their sister. Shesh was devotee of Vishnu, Vasuki of Shiva and Takshak of Bramha. They got respective boons from these Gods.

Vishnu gave Shesh the boon of immortality and eternal service, Shiva gave Vasuki a similar boon and Bramha, since he had no powers to immortalize anyone, gave Takshak the boon to rule the underworld of Nagas.
