Katrina and Hrithik most searched in April 2011: C

'The buzziest stars', a study conducted by Chakpak.com, India's largest movie portal has revealed 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif were the most searched celebrities on the web for the month of April 2011. Dum Maaro Dum had the maximum hits online and was most searched movie for the previous month. The study was based on over .5 million searches conducted on Chakpak.com from users across metros, tier 1 and tier 2 cities.

Hrithik: Numero Uno

From his debut to television for 'Just Dance' to essaying the role of legendary Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in Karan Johar's remake of Agneepath, Hrithik Roshan has been most searched male actor on Chakpak.com. Bollywood's sexiest vegetarian (voted by PETA) is Shahid Kapoor has managed to climb up the ladder to a coveted No. 2 spot. Chulbul Bhaiya's fever is not dying down anytime soon with Dabangg 2 already announced, Salman Khan holds on to No. 3. Mamma's Boy and charmer Ranbir Kapoor is consistently at the fourth slot. The last spot has been clenched by the Nawab of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan. If who will Salman marry seems to be the talk of B-Town then, when will the 'Chotte Nawab' say 'Kubool' is giving everyone sleepless nights.

On the report, Apurva Asrani, Bollywood Expert at Chakpak.com said that, "Eye-candy continues to rule the roost in the world online Bollywoodians. Poster boy Hrithik Roshan may have had lukewarm box office response to his quadraplegic role in 'Guzaarish', but cyber fans are extremely keen to see how he will fill Amitabh Bachchan's shoes in 'Agneepath'. His bare-chested look for the poster of 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' seems to be getting several hits on the internet too."

Katrina tops the searches again!

Katrina Kaif was titled the most searched female celebrity on the web. She was recently also named as the Perfect match for Prince William in Bollywood. Following her is Priyanka Chopra in the news for doing the sequels of Don and Krrish as well as the remake of Agneepath and opting out of Dostana 2. Anushka Sharma ranks at no. 3. The fashionista of bollywood, Sonam Kapoor manages the fourth slot. Sonakshi Sinha ranks in at no.5 post the announcement of Dabangg 2.

Apurva added, "While 'Tees Maar Khan' may not have done much for Akshay Kumar, what 'Sheila Ki Jawaani' has done for Katrina Kaif, cannot be measured. Kaif is the undisputed queen of the Bolly-web, with several users indiscriminately 'hitting' on Katrina pictures, leaving behind contemprories like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra

Thank you was ousted by the viewers as well as the online community making Dum Maro Dum the most searched movie. Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dum Maro Dum received more online hits than multi-starrer Thank You. Deepika's hot item number became widely popular among the youth and contributed a fair deal to it's success.

Apurva added, "'Dum Maaro Dum'" in spite of not creating Box office magic saw humungous online traffic coming its way. This can be attributed to the stylishly designed pictures of lead actors Bipasha Basu and handsome newbie, Rana Daggubati. Stories about the couples alleged romance created quite a buzz on the internet too as did requests for pictures of hottie Deepika Padukone in the 'Dum Maaro Dum' remix."
