In the aftermath there was silence, but a silence in which they clung together, gulping in air & trying to regain some consciousness of the situation. His heavy weight crushed her into the mattress. Her arms were wound around him & absently she stroked the back of his neck, absorbing the feel of him. He was all hard muscle, every inch of him & every pain in her seemed to submerged by him still being in her. He turned slightly just enough to pull the spread over them. Neither of them said anything. There would be a time for talking but that time wasn't now. For now they just were adrift in the moment.

Next morning Geet got up only find herself cocooned in his protective grip. She closed her eyes.. realizing wat they did last night. She slowly slipped away from his grip & went to the wash room. She stood under the shower for an hour... she didn't want to hurt Maan.. & she eventually did. He was the only guy who have ever touched her so deeply .. even with dev she never had such close s**. dev was always careful ..always in control always used protection. She felt special ..sad too!! she couldn't treasure it. How much she wanted to but.. she couldn't not after wat happened with dev...all said & done she will not be able to take dev out of her thoughts. How ever beautiful that moment was with maan.

They were little uncomfortable looking around their inners lying on the floor, entangled. He immediately pulled it & hid it under the spread. She looked away. He took his cloths & went to the wash room. He took his shower & kept cursing himself for not being able to open his mouth infront of her. How will I face her? Wat will talk to her now? Waisen office main we are so strictly professional.. she doesn't even say a word more than yes sir or no sir.. he bangs his head on the wall.. 3months she is been working with u.. ek bar ussen personally baat nahi kiya..& now..seedha.. oh god wat will she think about me.. like I am pervert or something. Actually u have become one!!!atleast since last night. Kya zarorat thi aisen waisen sochne ki.. socha teehk hain.. kya zarorat thi ussen kiss karne ki... kiss kiya. Wonhi ruhk nahi sakta tha.. u r really taking advantage of the situation u pervert.. his action was distracted when he heard her knock at the door.. sab teehk hain na?
he immediately pulled the towel..haan & dried himself. He changed into his cloths.
When he came out she looked perfectly fine, like nothing happened between them. She didn't dare to look at him. It was bit odd for her too. But she didn't want to give him wrong ideas.

She closed the door as soon as he left & sat on the floor.. she didn't cry anymore. She was determined now. She worked really hard to complete her studies. Maan & Geet never spoke personally after that. Its been 2months now. Geet just had couple of more months to finish her Mtech. Dev once came to meet her to plead her to get back home, but she refused to even talk to him.

Geet did a project as a part of her curriculum. She created a software that got a lot of recognition. It was an annual meet IT meet in delhi. All the IT companies were there to promote their products. Geet work was promoted by her college. KT was also the part of the meet so was Dev's company.
Geet now spending less time at KT as she was held up with her college work. It had been few weeks since Maan & Geet had spoken.

Finally they met in the party, party organized at the end of the meet. She looked stunning in her professional attire. Though he preferred her the way she was in his arms the other night, but ' he gave a weak smile.. as the pain of not being able to express himself was now surfacing. Lights went low..as the music played. They stepped closer & began to dance. They still didn't say word. His hand gracefully slipped around her waist & the other hand holding hers.

suddenly her body stiffened with the sight she saw. Dev dancing with another girl.
Maan looked at her, he knew something bothered her. He followed her view, it was some couple. She began to act wired. She inched closer to him. Hugging him, he was uncomfortable, since he knew it was not out of love.. but .. then.. he looked again at the couple.. now the guy seem to steal glances at them. Maan understood the game she was playing.. she was jealous.. so she tried making the guy jealous. It was anyway win win situation for him.. but ..he didn't want to be part of it. But her plight seemed miserable, like she wanted to prove a point & he couldn't let her lose. She seemed to burn within at the sight. He couldn't see her hurt yet again. Look at me he commanded.
She looked at him still stealing a glance at dev. Maan gave & node.. with the change in music.. next second, he spun her around & held her back in a trust. As the music moved he danced passionately with her.. though all the while he knew she was lost in that guy!!! he lifted her & turned her around, she so effortlessly followed.. he cradled her head & tilted it down.. almost resting his lips on her neck. He ran his fingers on her side & spun her yet again. Finally as the music stopped the whole crowd applaud for them. Only clap that continued even after all stopped was Dev.
