This serial is a breath of fresh air - the story is unusual, the cast of actors is amazing. No matter how negative, heartwarming, silly, endearing or repulsive the character - they have been very well etched out by the person playing the role. The camera work both indoors and outdoors is really high quality as is the editing. The story loops and arcs are intriguing. And yes, the romance between the protagonists is displayed beautifully (my favorite is still the imli scene where no words or looks were exchanged between the protagonists and yet a sense of romance was conveyed). And the costumes are simply beautiful and very different from the norm. Also for the first time I saw the portrayal of a transgendered person as a force to be reckoned with and initially even respected and revered (at least by Gulaal) rather than just someone to be mocked. This is a team that has some commitment to telling a story and that too with a commitment to quality.

Awesome post Lennie. I really enjoyed todays episode. I must confess that Talli gets on my nerves sumtimes but must say that today she stood out so much. I loved the way she was able to open up a whole lot of emotions that had been locked away in Gulaal. Loved the way she took Gulaal back to a place where she had been happy, laughed and enjoyed life and everything that life had to offer. I applaud her for that. She was able to make Gulaal forget about her duties and allow her to simply be a person with her own personality. TALLI TOO GOOD👏👏

I absolutely loved the scene where Kesar saw Gulaal and was mesmerized not only by her beauty but also the fact that she let her self become the real Gulaal. Every emotion was felt in that scene. Neils acting conveyed a thousand words and yet nothing was spoken. He is able to make his audience feel every heart beat of Kesars love for Gulaal. I am really looking forward to seeing these two develop their feelings for each other . Gulaal will cum to realise that her feelings are much to strong to be ignored for Kesar.

I just saw the scene and boy!!!...did it have some ethereal qualities in it...Loved the picturization the photography, the serene and beautiful and picturesque quality of the whole scene...
Where do I begin...Gulaal running untamed, her disbelief of her being out turning to happiness undisguised, unleashed...
Her melancholy ...seeing herself with her friends and then Kesar just following them...
And loved how they matched their footsteps...*sigh* just melted my heart ... both were walking apart yet their footstep rhymed with each other...as if trying to find their ways to the other...
Talli opening Gulaal's hair and Kesar removing his sunglasses...So symbolic na...I thought it was symbolism...Kesar removing his prejudices and Gulaal her inhibitions...that is the only way they will be able to see each other in their true light...
Loved how Gulaal just ran like the wind...and Kesar tryiing to catch up with that...such an appropriate tittle Lennie...👏...Jhonkha Hawa ka was such a good title...
and lastly, the way Gulaal just throws herself on her back after falling down, tired and she sees Kesar...finding her salvation...the end to her tumultous journey of life...*sigh* this love story is making me mad...😳
By the way how many of you felt sorry for Talli today...😃

Felt so sorry for her ...poor girl who was widowed at a young age and is continuously being disgraced by Kesar...she had shut all pain for years within herself.😭

Though I do get irritated with Talli most of the times, think this time I should thank her for taking Gulaal in the mango groves...it was the most refreshing eipsode and of course, Gulaal looked so beautiful with her hair left open, the way she ran, and of course...the way Kesar was staring her her 😍

Gulaal show is something else, wonderful cast and picturisation, its always been there but its a shame this show doesnt get full credit for it
