Yup, I loved yesterday's episode because of the emotional aspect it had. BUT, the main reason I loved it was because of the Stefan Damon interactions we had in the epi. They were back to the kind of scenes we had in Season 1 and beginning of Season 2.

They truly portrayed that no matter what, they both do love each other. And throughout the epi, we had glimpses of this.
First, Stefan asking Elijah whether he'd be able to kill Klaus, cause he himself has tried to kill his brother but never been able to do so.

Then, Damon's reaction on getting to know that Stefan had offered himself in place of Jenna. He looked SO horrified and angry.

Then of course, the last scene, which was the best scene of the epi. Damon showing his wound and Stefan's totally shattered and scared expression. Yet he wants to make his brother believe that he wouldn't let him die. He tries to gather himself and somehow convince Damon that he'd find a cure and there HAS to be a cure. Damon reassuringly patting his shoulder as if telling him not to worry.
So for me I want loads of such scenes in future. And this aspect of their relationship needs to be explored more, with flashbacks of before they became vampires.

And then of course, Stefan-Caro friendship scenes, Caroline-Tyler, and Elena with Jeremy.

Stefan-Caroline is must along with Damon-Emily!
